Corinthia was born in 1540 to Highlander parents, her father being a Kaedrin while her mother hailed from the Hanseti. As such, Corinthia was brought up in a very militarily strict lifestyle, constantly being pushed to learn nearly every platform of weaponry and tactical analysis from the combined minds of both her parents. However, her upbringing took place far from either society's civilizations, secluded from outside contact and as a result, Corinthia also became a hardened survivor. As a consequence, Corinthia's social skills stayed at the peak capacity that they possibly could after only having to interact with her parents, they themselves had not talked to any outsiders since having their daughter.
At the age of 16, Corinthia ran away from home after an especially hard beating from her father after accidentally scaring away their much needed prey for the winter. Staying away from larger civilization, she stowed away on a ship that departed into the war nation's capital of Uzg. When discovered, she was captured by the orcs and sold into slavery. Corinthia's master was a wealthier, upper class male of the Raguk clan who was renowned for his combat prowess. He was just as cruel as Corinthia was calculating. One night, she snuck up on the orc and got her chains around his enormous neck while he bathed, hooking her legs over his arms to stop him from resisting as she pressed her weight to force his head underwater. When finally he stopped moving, she put her foot in the back of his head and pulled with the chains, separating his spine from the base of his skull.
After being discovered, Corinthia was hunted down and thrown in the arena, allowed to live only because her reputation as the slave who murdered one of the greatest orcish leaders of any clan. To the war nation's surprise, she overcame every challenge they gave her with mostly just a gladius, using every skill her parents taught her. Finally, after three long years of the hell in Uzg, Corinthia escaped. She returned home promptly afterwards, only to find their cabin abandoned. Inside, everything seemed exactly the way it was when she left, including the precious weapons of her parents, and their two sets of armor: one belonging to her father, the other to her mother. She packed up the armor and weapons, stepping back out into the world with the equipment in tow.
Personality Traits: Very jaded to tragedy although a few events can still hit her very hard. She is very strongly tied to combat and will take any fight offered to her, though does so in a dignified way.
Ambitions: The greatest warrior she can possibly be. Deep down however, she needs a purpose to serve with her skills and doesn't want to be a ronin. A crusade or war perhaps? Monster hunting?
Strengths/Talents: Weapons, tactics, and survival. She is calculating with an innate ability to read people's strengths and weaknesses, and knows how to play her cards in a way to get the other person to tell her more about them or consider a request. Due to this, she can somewhat adapt to social situations using prior observations, but emotionally is still disconnected. She is a very fast learner and picks up social cues quickly.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Very uptight and distrusting of anyone who approaches her first as a result of her hard life, making her probably too intimidating to carry a conversation with. As for those she approaches first, her emotional connected with them is kept seperate in an almost sociopathic way, seeing the conversation as more of an objective than a real interaction. Even after the conversation, she still holds the other person in the same regard as her first inpression of them.
Appearance: 5'10, 120 lbs, brown eyes, brunette, a few minor scars on her side where some knife disarms went wrong.
