    Timezone(s) you mainly play: CST

What group/nation do you consider to be your main? Norland

Have you held a staff position before? Yes

Do you currently hold a staff position? No

Do you plan on applying for other staff positions? No

Have you ever been banned before? If so, how long ago and what reason? Yes, one year ago for X-Ray, but I learned my lesson.

What style of events do you feel you enjoy creating? (Low Fantasy, High Fantasy, Quests, Dungeons, etc.) Quests, Dungeons

List three factors you feel play a part in a quality event and expand upon them. There are always at least three main factors I like to go off of when I am making an event. Quality Players + Quality Roleplay + Quality Storyline = Quality Event; Of course, you will have to learn to accommodate yourself to new players that are new to roleplay, and I am more than willing to help them learn through events. Events give players exciting reasons to go out and roleplay, knowing that they actually have a goal in place most of the time. I often like to do events for experienced players, because they help me to become a more experienced event planner. The better the players, the better the roleplay. Quality roleplay goes hand and hand with these experienced players, and this allows the experienced players to bond with the new players through events. Last but not least, you must have a quality storyline, or a set goal. Every mainline event should be created with a lot of thought beforehand, and lots of reading up on lore. The more world lore you know, the better events you can create, allowing yourself a wide range of creatures and people to roleplay as.

Which member(s) of the team would you attempt to emulate and why? Although Elrith is an ET Builder, he often provided a lot of insight on things I could do in order to better my events. He has had a lot of experience himself, and I see him as an influential instructor.

Provide three event scenarios, in total, of the style(s) you listed above:

    Spoiler

A lone Courser is seen strutting down a road leading to Ostermark with a man lying over the side of the saddle. The Courser would stop in front of the party where the scene can be investigated further. The man strewn across the Courser would appear to have multiple injuries, would be unconscious, and obviously seeming to be in poor condition. The man would awaken out of his deep unconsciousness, speaking in a hard to understand tone. The party would be able to hear him muttering about a mineshaft near the ocean that had been flooded with little to no more information than that. As far as the man is aware, he is the only survivor. Now that the players know where the event will take place, they do not know the exact location of the flooded mineshaft. If the party inspects horse, they would find a small piece of parchment paper inside the saddlebag. The parchment paper would give the coordinates to a small mining shack just outside the flooded mineshaft. The entrance to the mineshaft would be accessible, but only through a small hole in the wall, big enough for the average human. It would not be hard though to break through the surrounding stone with a tool or a larger race creature, such as a Golem. Once inside the mineshaft, players would be met with a winding series of mined out tunnels, flooded with water. To make the tunnels traversable, air pockets will be set throughout the area so that players will not drown while swimming through the mineshaft. Along the way, players will be met with multiple stopping points for players to regain their strength and search for goods. At the end of the tunnel, players will be met with a poisonous water snake, baring the name Ular Beracun. After the creature had been slain, players would be able to strip different items off of it (certain goods would only be able to be obtained by high rolls). Players would be able to escape the flooded mineshaft by locating a small geyser underground which would take the players to the surface.

    Spoiler

A merchant is seen in the distance with what seems to be a small trade stop. The party wanders over towards the merchant where they are greeted with a large display of odds and ends. The merchant is an older man, around his 60s. The players are allowed to search through the large disarray of items, selecting items they wish to purchase or possibly trade for. The quantity of items that the merchant has is quite abundant, enough for all players to go around. The items range from simple wooden bracelets to large vases and other decorative items. When searching through the items that the merchant has to offer, each player will be given a chance to roll for the possibility to find a somewhat rare items within the merchant's storage. Players may to choose to either attempt to steal items or buy/trade for them legitimately. Stealing will not be an easy task though, as the merchant is travelling with an elite force of men that will not hesitate to attempt hostile actions against the thieves if they are caught. Players may roll to steal an item, but if the players roll is not significantly higher than the merchant's roll, the player would be assumed caught in the action of stealing and the elite soldiers would attack the player in order to re-confiscate the items stolen. If the merchant's soldiers are eliminated, the players may scavenge through items once more in hopes to obtain a rare item.

    Spoiler

The Krag, home of the Rurikguard and Prince Artyom Ruric. Norland is the home to natives known as the Norlanders, often proclaimed as having some of the strongest, toughest, most courageous, brave-hearted warriors the Isles of Axios have ever lain their eyes on. Ice has surrounded the base of the Krag, about five feet thick. The thick ice can hold around 8-10 tons; the ice is so thick not even icebreakers on the Ostavarian Pride can penetrate the ice sheets. Winter is at its peak in Norland, creating harsh snowstorms that are almost unbearable to pass through. Sundown is arriving soon but a blizzard has just started up, cutting line of sight to only a few feet in front of you. Peasants, the Rurikguard, and nobles are returning to their homes for the night, ready to take on one of the worst snowstorms of the year. Everyone has settled into their homes for the night, quickly starting up the fires to keep warm, hugging themselves tight to their fur blankets and coats. A majority of the Rurikguard are residing in the gatehouse around a single fire, trying to stay warm. All of a sudden, the ground shakes for a few seconds before resting to its normal state. About a minute later the ground shakes again, but with more power and for a longer duration. One of the walls to the gatehouse collapses, exposing the Rurikguard to a huge gust from the blizzard winds. Soon after, a large pack of wolves begin to storm inside the gatehouse, attempting to tear the Rurikguard to shreds. As soon as the pack of wolves has been slain, a loud, screeching cry can be heard in the near distance. The sound erupts throughout the Krag, surely waking anyone that may have been sleeping. No one can tell what kind of beast the sound erupted from, but they would soon find out. A large beast would climb up out of a small cave near the base of the Krag. It climbs up one of the stone pillars holding the rope bridge together. The beast storms across the bridge, making its way around the wall, entering inside the Krag. The beast locates one of the nearest huts, immediately taking its rage out on the home, tearing the home apart, limb by limb. As this is going on, it continues to let out the screeching cries. Anyone willing to adventure outside their homes and determine the location of this screeching cry would be met face to face with a beast known as Vintre Dyr. The beast would maneuver on four legs, but stand on two when entering combat. It stands vertically at 12 feet, a width of 3 feet, weighing in at close to 5,500 pounds. It is covered in a fur coat, white as the fresh snow of an early winter snowfall. Anyone willing to protect their lovely land would stand together in hopes to fight off the beast. Vintre Dyr would be accompanied by multiple wolf packs, ready to sink their teeth into the thick skin of the Norland natives. Players will RP Fight Vintre Dyr and PvE the wolves. It will be a tough fight, seeing as there is currently a harsh blizzard causing frontal visibility to be limited to only three feet in front of each player. If the players manage to slay Vintre Dyr and the wolf packs, they will be rewarded with a substantial amount of treasure which is being hoarded in the cave that Vintre Dyr was resting. After Vintre Dyr and the wolf packs have been killed, a single wolf will show obedience to the group and will lead them to the Vintre Dyr's horde of treasure. Players may also loot whatever they wish off Vintre Dyr and the wolves to a certain extent.

Why do you wish to become an ET Actor Member? I was actually an ET Actor about 2-3 months ago, but I had failed to notify the ET Leads of my temporary absence to a vacation I was going on. I love doing events for players, as it allows me to become a more experienced roleplay and event planner myself, while allowing others to better their roleplay through events. I had received plenty of positive feedback during my time as an ET Actor, and I would love to redeem myself and spend that time once again creating new events.

What strengths would you bring to the team? I feel as though I have a few strengths that would benefit the ET team. My events are very organized and I make sure that everything goes the way as planned. If something goes off track, I find a way to set the players back on the trail to completing the event. My events do not all remain static, because I like to give the players the chance to adjust the event to their way of roleplay. Working with the players on making a great event is what makes it enjoyable for everyone. I can also build small structures to assist my events as well. I am a great follower and do not argue when things do not go the way I want them to. I get along with others easily and remain unbiased even if there are players that get after me for doing something they don't like.

What are your weaknesses? I sometimes get caught up spending all my time doing events for one group. My goal is to change that, branching out to others so that way I can share my events with a greater population of the server.

How much time could you give to this position in the foreseeable future? Now that I am in college, I should be able to spend most weeknights creating events for the players. On the weekends, I will most likely dedicate a lot of my time to LOTC, but of course I like to go home and see my family every so often. Aside from that, I should be able to get AT LEAST 20-30 hours on the server a week.

Do you, or have you held, any other staff positionsI have not held any staff positions on LOTC in the past, but I was a standing GM and former ET on Birthright during its short-lived time.

Where do you grab inspiration from: I gather almost all of my inspiration from Game of Thrones, Elder Scrolls, George R.R. Martin's books, and J.R.R. Tolkien's books. The lore and events in these media types have shown me new ways to influence my events.

What are your current list of characters, and are you willing to sacrifice anyMy current characters are Avon Ruric (who I would not want to sacrifice) and Kyden (who I would be open to sacrificing). I also plan on purchasing Gold Donor soon, so I believe that will open up a new character slot if I am correct.

What race, or group, do your events best cater toMy events best cater to humans. I have not really had the chance to provide events for any other groups, but I'm sure that as long as I understand the lore for the race, I can host a great event.

What do you believe are they key factors for a successful eventI believe that the key factors for a successful event revolve around the overall RP abilities and cooperation from the players that are participating in the event. Of course, as an ET, when creating an event line it must have a solid amount of lore behind it. The event should be made enjoyable for all participants and you must remain fair to the players. An ET should take into consideration what kind of gear the players are carrying and how many people are participating in the event.

What strengths would you bring to the team: I feel as though I have a few strengths that would benefit the ET team. I am a great follower and do not argue when things do not go the way I want them to. I get along with others easily and remain unbiased even if there are players that get after me for doing something they don't like.

Why do you want to be part of the teamI have always enjoyed providing events for players, no matter what game. Many players from Birthright had always complimented me on my abilities as an ET member. I would like to carry on my abilities to LOTC. I have been a member of the community for about a year and a half now and I decided I want to do something for the rest of the community. I want to bring my events to LOTC and share my events with the community as a whole.

Create three distinct event scenarios based on the servers lore that you would organize:

    Event for 2-4 Players

What do you believe are they key factors for a successful eventI believe that the key factors for a successful event revolve around the overall RP abilities and cooperation from the players that are participating in the event. Of course, as an ET, when creating an event line it must have a solid amount of lore behind it. The event should be made enjoyable for all participants and you must remain fair to the players. An ET should take into consideration what kind of gear the players are carrying and how many people are participating in the event.

What strengths would you bring to the team: I feel as though I have a few strengths that would benefit the ET team. I can also build many types of structures to assist my events.

    Event for 6-10 Players

    Event for 15+ Players

How long do you plan to be able to work on the teamI plan to work on the team for as long as possible. If you meant how many hours a day, then it just really depends. I am not participating in a sport this season, so I will be on everyday after school. If I am not RPing with players in Norland or anywhere else, I will dedicate a large majority of my time to creating events for players and doing whatever else an ET member is asked to do.

Can you build anything else besides houses/keeps?

Yes, but I just showed builds that had to do with the three needed categories. As I said before, I enjoy working on builds underground as well, defensive builds, decorations, anything messy medieval, organics, terraforming, whatever you need. The only thing I do not really enjoy doing is working on high fantasy.

Edit: Forgot to add these builds to the main application as well:

Do you, or have you held, any other staff positions: I have not held any staff positions on LOTC in the past, but I was a standing GM and former ET on Birthright during its short-lived time.

Where do you grab inspiration from: I grab a lot of my inspiration from Game of Thrones, the Elder Scrolls games, and Mount & Blade: Warband. They all have shown me new types of building and have given me a majority of the ideas for a lot of my builds.

What type of building are you best with: I'd say my primary building style is medieval, specifically fortifications. My secondary would probably be working on underground builds. I happen to be a fan of building and RPing in caves or places with moody lighting, such as the crypt in The Krag.

What are some of your most treasured buildsI'd say one of my most treasured builds is the construction of the fortifications in The Krag. I built the Gatehouse, Elven vigil, and the keep located there. Feel free to take a look around there for a better look at the builds.

Are you capable of handling all aspects of a buildI'd say I am capable of handling a majority of aspects of a build. As I said before, I am strongest when it comes to fortifications and underground builds, but I also like to fiddle around with decorating as well.

Pick three building styles and show us a build of yours that corresponds to each choice:

Medieval, Terraforming, Underground: http://imgur.com/a/UorAy. This album will show you images that contain all three aspects. If you would like, you can also visit the Krag to check out my fortification builds there or I can take some images and add them to the album, but I think a lot of you have visited the Krag before, so I'm sure you've seen my builds there. Also, feel free to check out these two builds as well.

How long does it take for you to complete a build:

Additional details: I consider myself capable of handling myself with World Edit seeing as I use it often for a lot of my builds. I've messed around with Voxel before, but it wouldn't hurt to touch up on it again. As for redstone, I've never really been fond of working with it, but it doesn't hurt to learn it if I must.

Tell me a trick about building: Not sure if this is really a trick, but DETAILS. I can not emphasize this enough. I feel as though many people lack details in their builds, and that's why a lot of people want to see. The more details, the more appealing it is to the eye. One trick I know is that you can use the command (//replace) to give your builds a quick, beautiful texture. I often build all of my keeps with one block, such as stone, then use (//replace 1 1,4,98,98:2) in different patterns to get a nice texture on the build.

Tell me a joke: Narthok...Narthok is a joke in general...<3
