Biography : I was born on one of the few boats carrying survivors from Athera. When we arrived at Vailor I was still just a toddler and did not remember anything of the pilgrimage. I grew up with a stepbrother named Tristaine Baisen when his father Brigham Baisen married my mother Yara Leighton. We lived near what is now Vandoria in a small town of merchants. Tristaine and I grew very close and decided we wanted to become caravaneers traveling the continent exploring the new when we were older. At a young age my mother forced me to learn and become of a follower of the Church of Canon. Yet my early days were too busy in my opinion to be learning about King Horen I or Harren the Defiler. My half brother and I were always getting up to no good whether it be getting lost in the woods, getting into fights other boys or stealing pies from our neighbors. My mother was very disappointed in how I was shaping myself as a young boy. She wanted me to become something more honorable like a banker or a soldier. Yet I always said this was my true calling and nothing could change my mind. She then stopped caring about my future; that was the last time we talked before I set off.
Eventually as we got older, we became successful in our hopes and dreams of becoming traveling merchants, discovering majestic creatures such as the Gy’waka birds and traveling to the unknown. In one city that we stopped in overnight the town drunks asked we leave because our people were savage like and unruly. I was in shock by his comments and for the first time knew the pain of being different from the rest. Now as my step brother and I have traveled the continent we have decided to settle down. As we began to settle news reached us that our home village was attacked by savage Orcs from the northeast. I can never forgive them for what they did to my mother and I hold a deep prejudice toward any Orc I encounter. I grieve everyday wanting to just tell my mother I loved her one more time. Now as my step brother and I now are going into the harsh world that we now know what this life can throw at us, but we are braced and ready for anything to come.
