The leather is not damaged, nor the other person i asked, and they are normal iron ingots yes, i asked in ooc and otehrs said it happened to them. i can try again now to see if it wasnt just the server needing a restart or something

So at 9:40 AM CST on 6/25/17 i made a iron chest plate using 8 iron and a fully repaired leather tunic. Then i tried to make leggings and I have the materials and everything and it says i don't have the materials, i made sure i had the materials and tried again still didn't work, i tried making a helmet and that didn't work. Then i asked my friend who logged on who is a blacksmith to make it for me, and he said when he tried to do it it said he lacked materials. So for some reason its saying you lack the materials to make iron armor even though you have them. Not sure if its only iron armor. "You don't have the materials to craft that." yet everyone who tries it does, and it doesn't work.

Whats the server down for right now, says development mode?

While LOTC is not IRL, just think of how guns did change IRL. look at what happened when the Ottomans got guns?.The use for armor and swords and all that majestic cool stuff that we use in LOTC would be rendered useless. A man could simply point at his target and kill him (if he lands the inaccurate bullet ofc). Think of the RP, what would we do? Roll? Seems like a man could walk into a square, stab a man, then point his gun at the guards. What do the guards then do? Kill him...  and lets say a thief is running away. "Hey you stop! You are under arrest" He doesn't stop soooooo they shoot him and guess what hes got like a 90% of death if hes hit, and he gets away if he misses. It would just increase death count by 100% and loose a lot of the action roleplay we use rn. I think we should not add guns.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Wraiths are made using the Altars of Dawn but they need to be activated by a Wraith who has been given a Immolated Catalyst, a bone given to them by Mordring.  Then after giving the bones of three victims they use a ritualistic dagger to end their life and become a wraith.  Mordring’s power will leave them without skin or bone, but just as a soul. A Wraith can also be created by following Iblees, and use thier dark powers to help fight White-Wizards. Once they have become a Wraith, one has to serve Drakaar Mordring for Eight Elven Months.  During the service, the Wraith is required to fill Draconic Vessel by taking the lives of others, to create the power necessary to continue the Dragon species.  Once the time is up, and this is completed they will become an Elder Wraith, are are free to do as they please. Wraiths can be in being a Wraith has certain advantages and disadvantages.  They do not need food, water or sleep, because they don’t have any flesh or organs inside them that need it.  They can use Husking, which disguises them as a mortal being but there is a noticeable black scar and their eyes still have shadows of the Abyss.  Holy magic and the use of Aurum, are very power when used against a Wraith.  Their natural Dark powers speed up the time it takes to learn aspects of Dark Magic. Wraiths can be seen as bony, dark cloaked figures, but can use the power of Husking to transform themselves as said above.

Biography:

Franklin was born in 1542 a few miles out of Sutica on a fishing ship where he spent most of his childhood. Franklin never knew his father, who had died of gangrene after losing a hand six months after Franklin was born. Growing up Franklin worked hard on the fishing ship, and always dreamed of owning a ship and crew of his own. When he was eleven years old he found that his mother was pregnant with the Captain’s son. The Captain “Lucky Jack” (As the crew members called him) took Franklin up as a son, and eagerly awaited the birth of his new child. Sadly in 1554 his mother died in childbirth along with Franklin’s baby brother Dan. Captain Jack became depressed with the death of Franklin’s mother and brother but managed to teach Franklin to navigate the seas using the stars. Franklin then became a master at sailing the seas, but was very bad at combat and couldn't bear seeing blood. Over the years he had seen many cities where they sold their caught fish, and random items the crew members had obtained.  Captain Jack, overcome with grief, eventually killed himself by tying himself to the anchor and cutting himself loose. After his death the First Mate, Gerald Bligh, became captain of the ship. Bligh had always despised how Franklin had “special treatment” from Captain Jack. And in becoming captain, he now had the power to kick Franklin off the ship. He left Franklin in Sutica to fend for himself. Franklin then began to fish off the shores near Sutica. Present day he still is fishing, hoping to one day get a ship of his own, and make a fortune fishing.

Strengths/Talents:

Having the help of “Lucky Jack” he has learned to navigate using the stars, and can find any place of his desire. He has become very good at ropework, and has become very strong and quick witted, being on a ship for many years and hauling the lines for large sails.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)

The death of his family members and father figure, Captain Jack, left him confused and quick tempered for some time. He still can get angry quite easily and make irrational decisions.

Being cramped up in a fishing ship, means he does not get a lot of space to run around, and is not very fast. He cannot bear to see the sight of blood, fish are alright for him, but human blood makes him squeamish and ill.

Appearance: Franklin is 6’1”, with long brown hair and blue eyes. He lets his hair grow wild, and just kind of hangs over his face. His facial hair is scruffy and hasn’t been shaved in months. He wears a Captain’s uniform that Captain Jack had in his boardroom.

The Rule I agree most with is the prohibition on memes in Rp, I was previously on a server with similar standards, but their was a constant influx of Harambe/ Rick Harrison actions happening

Biography: Franklin Downsgrove was born in 1309 in the land of yulthar. Even though his family was those of farmers, they were well-respected. Giving to the community and establishing many blood-connections through marriage. Through the centuries after the calamity of the transpired even a few demonhunters had appeared amongst his ancestors and connected family.  Their footsteps could still be heard in the echo-ed chambers of the family home.
Yulthar had always been a dangerous place, and as Franklin's family lost more and more to the demon's of Iblee's. At the age of 143 Franklin took the mantle of disciple, cultivating the skills of the sword. His master was that of Yummei a demonhunter at the age of 752, which to those of Yulthar was an age unheard of among those not bound by HIghvicar's rings. He was despondent and frail, he was a master in all but physique, for after decades of wounds he had become irreparable without the most powerful mgaics which Yulthar forbade. Franklin progressed under Yummei, but hated him at the beginning due to his rigorous training.
This hate though was soon compromised after an outing for Franklin to tests his skills, where he successfully killed a beast. An accomplishment that many do not have the chance to achieve. At that moment he realized Yummei's hardwork wasn't unreasonable when faced with the possibilites. After 115 years of training as required of the elven branch of demonhunters. Franklin set out to make out in the world killing the beasts that ravage it, be it in his land or others
Personality:  Franklin is a solemn figure capable in battle. He is articulate and well-versed, but not overly clever. He is arrogant and pompous causing much resentment with those on the road.
Ambitions: Franklin's ambition is to study the fighting skills of other lands and become a successful demonhunter.
Talents: Trained in the arts of demonhunting Franklin is capable in the sword as well as knowledgable in simple alchemy and field pratices.
Inabilities: He is incapable of any complicated skills such as tinkering and specialized alchemy, He also dislikes the obligation of working in any manor besides fighting, causing him to be low on minas almost constantly
Appearance: Franklin is mid-build, strong and lean, but not overly so. He has brown hair kept in a bun, with a short cut beard. He is 5'9 and 186 pounds. Green eyes. He has a crooked nose from being broken several times. His pinky and ring finger on his left hand are missing the first joint. He has a more eastern-esque face similar comparative to other yulthar.
