How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?:

I had heard of it previously, but then my friends Michealrotov1234 and Losthero_ and others joined, and I decided to try too.

Biography:

Franklin was born in 1542 a few miles out of Sutica on a fishing ship where he spent most of his childhood. Franklin never knew his father, who had died of gangrene after losing a hand six months after Franklin was born. Growing up Franklin worked hard on the fishing ship, and always dreamed of owning a ship and crew of his own. When he was eleven years old he found that his mother was pregnant with the Captain’s son. The Captain “Lucky Jack” (As the crew members called him) took Franklin up as a son, and eagerly awaited the birth of his new child. Sadly in 1554 his mother died in childbirth along with Franklin’s baby brother Dan. Captain Jack became depressed with the death of Franklin’s mother and brother but managed to teach Franklin to navigate the seas using the stars. Franklin then became a master at sailing the seas, but was very bad at combat and couldn't bear seeing blood. Over the years he had seen many cities where they sold their caught fish, and random items the crew members had obtained.  Captain Jack, overcome with grief, eventually killed himself by tying himself to the anchor and cutting himself loose. After his death the First Mate, Gerald Bligh, became captain of the ship. Bligh had always despised how Franklin had “special treatment” from Captain Jack. And in becoming captain, he now had the power to kick Franklin off the ship. He left Franklin in Sutica to fend for himself. Franklin then began to fish off the shores near Sutica. Present day he still is fishing, hoping to one day get a ship of his own, and make a fortune fishing.

Ambitions:

He hopes to buy a ship of his own, and use his sailing skills to either trade or fish, and make a fortune.

He also hopes to one day have a wife and child of his own, to teach his navigation skills.

Strengths/Talents:

Having the help of “Lucky Jack” he has learned to navigate using the stars, and can find any place of his desire. He has become very good at ropework, and has become very strong and quick witted, being on a ship for many years and hauling the lines for large sails.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)

The death of his family members and father figure, Captain Jack, left him confused and quick tempered for some time. He still can get angry quite easily and make irrational decisions.

Being cramped up in a fishing ship, means he does not get a lot of space to run around, and is not very fast. He cannot bear to see the sight of blood, fish are alright for him, but human blood makes him squeamish and ill.

Appearance: Franklin is 6’1”, with long brown hair and blue eyes. He lets his hair grow wild, and just kind of hangs over his face. His facial hair is scruffy and hasn’t been shaved in months. He wears a Captain’s uniform that Captain Jack had in his boardroom.
