What’s the rule you agree with the most?:

I agree the most with the Metagaming- and Powergaming-Rules! Both, Power- and Metagaming, are destroying the fun for players to develop with their characters and to learn new things in Roleplay. Knowing everything is boring and destroys the fun for everyone at the same time.

    In-Character Information

    Character’s name: Xia Jiangh

    Character’s sex: Female

    Character’s race: Human, Farfolk Subrace

    Character’s age: 27

    Biography:

Xia was born in the slums of Salvus, as the second child out of three in the Mercenary Family Jiangh. Growing up was difficult for Xia, especially since her father didn’t allow her to leave their home. He was too scared that Xia might get attacked by one of the family’s enemies, so instead of sending her to a normal school she was trained since the age of five in hand to hand combat and the difficult path of a mercenary and sellsword. But she was happy, happy to be alive, have a family which cares about her and to follow the path of everyone in the family's history, the path of a mercenary.

Years passed by and Xia grew up to be a women able to kill without hesitation. Things went well until the day her father passed away on one of his contracts in Felsen. Filled with hate and anger Xia left her home for the first time, with determination to get revenge for her father’s death.

She arrived in Felsen after several weeks. She gathered information as soon as she arrived, she researched her targets and created a plan over 3 nights, until she knew her targets’ doings, involvements and the like.

Finally, on the day of her operation started she infiltrated her enemies and finished her work in a few silent movements, just to stand in a city without any known people around her. At least she thought so until a hand was placed on her shoulder, letting her spin around, ready to fight, but there wasn’t an enemy. It was the hand of her sister. Xias eyes would widen as she would notice every member of her family standing behind her. They didn’t want to let Xia handle everything alone and as such followed her on her travel.

After the current event Xia and her family migrated to the Isles of Axios much alike the other refugees, where they got in contact with other familiar faces from Vailor, having the same goal, building up a new place to live at and to gain power.

    Personality Traits:

    • Active: Xia was trained the most time of her life in hand to hand combat and trained between 7 to 9 hours each day. This caused her body to grow muscles and to make her an athletic and well-trained girl. Sadly-wise many people are underestimating her, since her muscles are hidden under her clothes most of the time, and she may end up in fights with these people easily.

    • Protective: Xia might seem like a weak and nearly useless fighter under her clothes, but she has a strongly developed protective side and a lot of combat experience by herself. She will try everything to protect her family, even if she need to risk her own life to do so.

    • Loyal: The Jiangh Family has always taught their children to be loyal towards the own family and to follow the plans of the family, ending in pure loyalty towards the elders of the family and towards the older members of the family. This caused Xia to develop a trait of loyalty by herself and to follow the orders of her family.

    • Fearful: Xia is often described as a cute and nice looking girl, but this facade fades as soon as she enters any form of discussion and combat. She is often using other people to reach her goal, controlling and charming them with a false tongue. She is also known to show no mercy in fights and is even showing a sadistic side.

    • Shy: Never having any real friends developed a trait inside of Xia which she struggles to overcome. This trait is shyness. Xia can’t really speak openly with people she just met and she would try to stay in the background instead.

    • Careless: Being a well trained fighter caused Xia to be careless in most fights. She would simply jump in fights and tries to deal as much damage as possible to her enemies, while she ignores her surrounding completely. She is also using herself as a living shield if she needs to protect her family without the slightest hesitation.

    Ambitions:

Power. The main goal of the Jiangh Family is to build up enough force and power to control smaller parts of the countries and to act as mercenaries. This reason was the cause of most family members to have a power-related ambition and to form them into strong warriors and fighters.

    Strengths/Talents:

Xias most prominent skill is the usage of her words to manipulate people and use them as dolls, often without their direct knowledge of getting used. She has also a talent for direct hand to hand combat, thanks to her years of training, and can fight against taller and stronger people by using her family's fighting style and the usage of the attacker's force against the attacker himself. Another strength she developed over the years of being a mercenary is her knowledge about poisons and the usage of them for her work.

    Weaknesses/Inabilities:

The most important weakness of Xia is her unstable mind. She is often having paranoia and can’t control her feelings like she would like to, often causing her to start unwanted fights and to get out of control from time to time. Her family members would need to stop her at that point by knocking her out or calming her with medicine. Another weakness of Xia is her arachnophobia, which creates a feeling of fear inside of her as soon as she would spot a spider and even make her unable to move.

    Appearance:

Xia is 5'4'' tall and weighs around 123 pounds. Her hair is having a blackish-brown color and is often bound away in a ponytail or are pinned-up, giving a nice a contrast towards her amber colored eyes and the pale skin color she has. Her oval face is completely free from any scars or freckles, making it one of the few parts of her body without any scars on it.

Her body is well trained, showing a lot of muscles at the arms and legs, and giving her a wider body form. Most parts of her body are also covered in scars from her training, pasts fights and even self-experiments of her poisons. To cover this fact Xia uses loose clothes and tries to show as less of her actual body as possible.
