What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is making up, or taking a character and only being them, there's no you in roleplaying, you are the character.
What is metagaming?: Using your irl friends to your advantage. Ex. your online friend is going to be ambushed by your irl friend, your irl friend tells you this information you then inform your online friend, therefore you change the possibilities the game could have had.
What is power-emoting Giving the other player no chance to respond. Ex. You're in a fight with someone, you decide to "stab" the person, in chat you proceed to write the following "*Hugo stabs Henry in the chest." Instead of saying that you could say *Hugo ATTEMPTS to stab Henry in the chest.

Biography: server lore
Born in the year 1488, Zoana was born and raised in Siimah'sul. As everyone else migrated from her home land her parents did as well. Zoana's mother, Sinoara, was able to use frost witch magic and was supposed to teach the magic to Zoana. As a child Zoana had one good friend, that friend was soon deceased and Zoana had no one apart from her family. When her and her family were traveling for business they were ambushed by orcs. They had taken her parents life and spared her. Zoana was devastated, alone, no one was there for her. She stayed locked up in her house for years. Only now has she truly realized what life she has been missing out on. She's just starting to come out of her box.
Zoana may have a rigidity past, but she is willing to do anything to change that now. Her main goal is to find a frost witch and master the art of frost witch magic. She hopes that maybe on the way she will make some new friends. She knows that taking on such a task, to find a frost witch, may be a very hard task to achieve. Along the way she realizes that her efforts are too little and puts all her efforts in until she simply does not have enough. In this time she grows depressed and wonders why her friends are still helping her. She then gets very angry at herself and can't deal with herself. She packs her bags and runs away. She cannot live like this though... She comes back and tries to fix things but she doesn't know what will happen.
Personality Traits: Although Zoana's past she does love a nice book every now and then, she is quite the peice of work when she finally opens up and she loves to dance (as a high elf she's also quite educated).
Ambitions: Zoana wishes to be a frost witch more then anything.
Strengths/Talents: She is an amazing author and quite a good dancer. What she doesn't realize until later is there is a magnificent amount of magic energy that flows through her veins.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Socializing, she is terrible at that.
Appearance: Zoana is fairly short for an elf, two full feet shorter than most, 5,10. She has a fairly big scar located on her forearm. Her eyes are a silver-blue. Her long silver hair cascades to the ground. She looks gorgeous, but what prices are you willing to make for her. Her past screams "DEATH".
