Gawayn Williams was born in a small town in the woods. Life was quiet for young Gawayn as he led a sheltered life, his father being a decorated knight turned farmer and his mother being a healer of all. Gawayn was small at a young age, but soon found his strength in hunting with a bow and quickly became stronger, faster and as he aged, taller. Things appeared to be calming down in Valior, Oren had just emerged the victor of the great siege of the Grandaxe Keep, and things appeared to be looking up for young Gawayn and his family. Soon, however a party of dwarven bandits ransacked the little village that he called his home. Gawayn was forced to flee and run from the marauders, he never knew what happened to his parents that day. That was not the end of Gawayn's part in battle, as a year after he wound up, at the mere age of 13, at Kal'Ordoholm. Gawayn was at this point, desperate. He had no money, no family and no shelter. One night, after seeking shelter in a nearby abandoned building, the young Gawayn was approached by two men. Without thinking, Gawayn attempted to fight the men and succeeded to knock one of them off their feet, but quickly he was restrained. It was only a few minutes later, that Gawayn realised exactly who had captured him. It was only then he realised that the men were human. And soon after a good meal and even a little drink, the men explained that they were on their way to fight at Kal'Ordoholm. So, It came to be that Gawayn became a squire to a great knight, David. Gawayn saw the slaughter that was the arrow-fire on the attackers who were attempting to take the keep, and watch in dismay as the forces of Oren began their retreat. Later, Gawayn learnt that both David and the other man never returned from the Keep that day, and so Gawayn was left with enough gold and armour to make his way to Johannesburg, five years later and at the age of 18, the money finally ran out and it was time to re-pay his debt to Oren. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) :: My character loves good food and drink, and a good fight! But, my character hates everything to do with the sea. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) :: To aid Oren in any way that he can. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) My character is fiercely loyal and very skilled with the bow and fast. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) :: Headstrong, he will rush into situations without thinking them through. My character is also a little clumsy and bad at anything to do with the sea. Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) My character is 5"10 , has blue eyes, brown hair and wears his armour all the time. He has no scars.
