In-Character Information Character’s name: Vulniel Alvius Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: High Elf Character’s age: 113 Biography: Born in the year 1532 somewhere in Orenian lands, the mother of the five children died while giving birth. The father then took his newborn children to a small village looking for care. Being a fairly wealthy man, he was able to easily pay a few of the villagers for a living space and someone to care for them, at which point the father left and rarely came back to visit his sons. At the age of 11 the boys had by then become aware of their mother's death and moved on living with the village learning varying skills such as the art of crop rotations and how to use a forge. Vulniel appeared to not have settled on anything specific however he had actually been making a decent living from stealing. Around the age 24 the brothers of the Alvius family gained interest in the stories of men who blasted down bandits with fire or broke the earth crushing his opponents. Learning of this they read stories about magicians each finding their own which drew them in, Vulniel had found the lightning mages to interest him the most. Though there sister Tulin thought it was all made up and just stayed with her romance and drama books. Years later the siblings, now about 39, for the first time in their lives divided themselves to venture off in search of a deeper understanding of the interests they hungered for. Grouping into 3 groups they set out. Teliir and Cellanar, Tulin and Vulniel, and Gilinor went off on his own. Now 16 years later the Vuilniel has returned to their home ready to accept what lays before them. Vulniel and Tulin were very secluded from the many city’s only going into them for trade or food. The brother and sister didn't have the same way of thinking, so it made there travel’s a lot harder. Vulniel wanted to go see the cities of the world and Tulin just didn't listen to him thought that it would be a waste of time to Vuilniel told Tulin he was heading home to search for his other brothers, Vulniel said he wanted to wander more, so they went their separate ways. Vulniel had several problems on his way back to Haelun'or. He was low supplies for his trip and just barely had money to afford a ship to travel place to place. All the siblings but him had arrived in Haelun'or with the troubles he ran into he was much later than he expected he would be out Personality Traits: He is a very impulsive elf man, and is not very willing to give up the truth. He doesn’t have a habit of always lying, although he will use it to his advantage, he will mostly keep the truth from people, by distracting and dodging a question. He’s quick to be agitated, making it difficult to talk to him sometimes. Ambitions: To become faster than he already is, to learn how to better use his speed in a fight, and to become a better thief Strengths/Talents: He worked hard to become fast, and through this has not only managed to increase his speed, he also has learned to do smaller actions faster, ie: shift weight, shift his stance, hand movements, shifting center of gravity. Alongside his brothers Vulniel learned to farm and forge, but never really took up these professions. He knows enough farming to feed himself, and enough forging to make small basic tools (for instance, a kitchen knife) Weaknesses/Inabilities: His impulsiveness is somewhat of a weakness, because in most situations he will make a decision before properly weighing his options. He has a hard time changing his mind, usually taking a large amount of time to be convinced otherwise, his brothers usually had an easier time changing his mind, but it still took a lot of time.
