Body Type: Jerome Nicéphore exemplifies the iconic blacksmith; a broad shouldered, firm footed man, covered in charcoal. In order to prevent accidental singed hair, Jerome sports a clean shaven head. Although, his facial hair seems to have been clean shaven at some point, it has long since grown into a patchy mess of stubble.
Lifestyle
“Childhood” (1570-1590): Jerome Serge Nicéphore was born on the 3rd of the Deep Cold, 1570 within the borders of Courland. His father was a blacksmith in the capital city, Alexandria. Jerome spent a majority of his childhood at home with his mother, who actively practiced enchanting and was most likely the inspiration for his later interest in it. As he grew into a teenager, Jerome began helping his father in the forge and learning the complexities of metallurgy.
“A Father’s last wish” (ca.1590-1610): In his late 20’s, Jerome’s father passed away, leaving the family business to him. Although, without the notoriety of his father, this burden eventually overtook him and he was forced to close the forge to care for his mother. In 1602, she also died, leaving Jerome as the only living Nicéphore descendant in all of Axios. To regain his family’s respect, he sold everything he owned to purchase a small home and forge in Aven, in which he could work his steel and hone his craft, while also respecting his father’s legacy.

I-IV = Achievable Ranks))I: Kor'ennlakh -
SpoilerThe lowest ranking scout in the clan military, The Star of Tomorrow, must vow their undying loyalty and service to both the Clan Father and Yemekar. Similar to the Anoros Grond, there is only one Kor'ennlakh at a time, this being the newest member of the clan military. Their duty is to answer every plea of higher ranking members, most importantly, the Clan Father. Being the grunt means this dwed must also complete mundane tasks such as cooking, brewing, and keeping the clan hall baracks clean.
II: Kor'akvel -
SpoilerA Star Guard is the second rank of the Kor'Arkammar.
The pre-requisite to this position is either:
-prior service in the Urguan Legion
-fulfillment of the Kor'ennlakh rank
Although it requires some work to be appointed as one, the Star Guard name is well worth the wait. Each one is outfitted with their choice weaponry along with armor and no longer must they do the grunt work for the clan. The only responsibility of these dwed is that they show up for every rally and hold their promise to fight in the name of the Kornazkarumm clan, and in doing so, Yemekar.
III: Kor'Kronetok -
SpoilerStar Teachers are meant to be at the head of a charge, prepared to die at any moment, while still maintaining a calm demeanor in front of their disciples. Kor'Kronetok also have the duty of teaching these students essential leadership skills so that they might one day replace them. These dwed are entrusted to set up training and rally their kin whenever necessary. Although, they are only directly in charge of their squadron of three Kor'akvel foot soldiers, appointed by the Kor'Kadre.
IV: Kor'Kadre -
SpoilerThe Star Smith is certainly one of the most honored dwed in Urguan. A Kor' Kadre must not only uphold the clan's armory but their prowess as well. The Starbreakers are most widely known for their skill with a hammer and anvil, so it is fitting that the best smith in the clan is given a position of power. This position is most often filled by a clan father, adding the responsibility of upholding political standing in the council. Finally, any planned expeditions by Starbreakers must be affirmed with him.
*: Anoros Grond -
SpoilerThe truth seeker, wielding words more than blades. There tends to be only one at a time due to this preference of knowledge over strength, which is very uncommon for the cave dwed of the Korarkammar. This role includes dealing with the duties of a clan scribe along with furthering the knowledge of Urguan as a whole. The drive to learn pushes many of the Anoros Grond to pursue the skill of tinkering. Although, some of the more adventurous ones may choose to spend more time making expeditions into the mines, rather than in their research lab.
*: Kor'Azadar -
SpoilerThe Star Champion must prove his worth in the form of enemy blood and in doing so spill plenty of his own. The life of a Kor'Azadar is almost never a long one, taking care of any "dirty work" for the Clan Father and/or the Kor'Kadre, they put themselves in the way of direct harm to protect their clan. This position is appointed by the Anoros Grond, so that he may make the most calculated decision to avoid choosing someone incapable of such tasks. If the Kor'Azadar is to be killed in battle, the Anoros Grond will step down and the Clan Father will appoint two new dwed to each position.
