Tark Treebeard strolls into the Dwarven City, new and unseen by his eyes, and is met by his good friend Mafraedon Starbreaker.  They catch up for a bit in the tavern and Maf informs him of the current events.  Tark immediately stands up and rushes from the room toward the Grand King's Hall.  Approaching Bastion, he states "Ah believe oi could speak fer t'e Treebeards of Axios, aldo' we may not be recognized as a clan an'ehmore, oI woul' still like tah say tha' I stand fer peace in Urguan.  And oI em sure tha' an'eh other Treebeard will say tha same."

When i got back into lotc after my 1 year break Collin is one of the people who helped me out the most. From showing me mechanics , to teaching me lore , he was always there to help . For some reason he likes helping newbies while many others (like myself) find it a pain in the a**.  I am positive that he would be a great AT member. +1

Thank you all so much, you're all great role players and that's why your experiences with me have been positive.

What group are you from: The Jarldom of Mjol

What can you do to help new players: I will teach them to roleplay and assign their skills.  Along with that, I have a large plot for my settlement with plenty of housing to give out for free and no taxation.  I would also provide them with any needed supplies and work in exchange for minas.  Everything I do in roleplay and oocly is ultimately to benefit those around me, and provide them with a place to thrive and prosper.

+1 I remember helping Collin in his first 10 minutes of  Lord of  The Craft, and how he was so eager to rp and help people.

He has surpassed even me in some ways, and I think he'd be perfect in helping people get into our community.

Overall man, I hope the best for you, you deserve this spot, and applicants deserve an AT like you.

Means a lot Turkurz, Tark's brother from another mother.

Do you have Discord? (you need to): Yup, Collin#0607

Do you feel that you have a solid grasp on our lore and an understanding of the application standards?:

Absolutely, I understood what was needed perfectly when I applied to LotC and was accepted on my first attempt.

Why do you want to be an AT member and do you have the ability to work and collaborate with others?:

I find myself wasting a lot of time when I am just on LotC and grinding my skills.  I wanna become more productive in a positive way.  The best option I saw in front of me was the Application team, I think I can benefit both myself and the server through my service.

Beyond reviewing whitelist applications, what ways do you think you would enjoy helping new applicants?:

I think providing new players with a seasoned LotC ambassador fitting their preferred background for their character, possibly before the new player even begins the application process, would be massively beneficial.  This will help new players make a character that means more to them than an obscure background with outdated lore they gathered from the Wiki.  I personally ran into this issue when I made a forest dwarf and was never told that they disappeared in Vailor.  When I arrived in Kal’ Nikaer I was met with hate and negativity that was RPly granted but as a new player I had no clue what was going on.  Luckily, the thing which kept me playing LotC was a friendly player named RinRaguk, who took me in and taught me how to use the commands and roleplay a dwarf correctly.  I am aware the AT is working on this sort of a thing right now, which I did apply for, but I would like to help with it any way I can.

How do you think the server’s application process could be improved?:

As I said in my previous answer, I think having someone that knows their stuff help the new applicant create a character that is fitting for the current social setting of the server.  For the time being, I will do my best to make sure the person is ready to join the server with a character that they will enjoy playing, along with making sure they know enough lore and the rules of the server.

Is there anything else you would like to add or that we should know about you?:

I am in community college in California and working at a golf course.  I try my best to be a genuinely kind and compassionate human being, though I may not be religious, this compassion is certainly driven by the teachings of Buddhism that I’ve picked up throughout my life.  I am what you might call a stereotypical stoner teenager who just wants to spend his time doing more for a community he cares about and less time being unproductive.

    Tell me a joke:

Q: How do you get a one-armed stoner out of a tree?

    A: Wave.

Tark weeps for a moment in solace of the dead mice and other vermin.  Each one burned alive, while minding their own business rummaging for crumbs and dwelling peacefully in the walls of the forsaken establishment.  Imagine how they dreamed for nothing more than a bite or two of cheese, yet, the only thing they received was a slow painful death.

The Reyurnt family is known for their sandy blond hair, generally grown out to shoulder length.  Another distinct physical trait of the bloodline is their opalescent green and blue eyes, shifting from blue to green in different lights. This is where the inspiration for the colors of their family crest arose from, along with the bold image a stag’s head set in the center.

    Ancestry

The origination of the Reyurnt family is drawn back to Norland’s earliest days in Vailor.  They’re bloodline descending from two wealthy families, the Reylans and Stakurnts.  It began through an alliance of these two, well respected families, sealed with the marriage of each of their first born children.  Unlike most arranged marriages, Gaeda Reylan and Dalf Stakurnt got along very well, treating each other as equals and combining their last names out of respect for both bloodlines.  Living out their years on the island of Avar, farming their plot and eventually birthing a single son named Ranveig.  As he grew, his parents aged, eventually taking over all of the tasks required to run a farm and gaining a strong resolution through doing so.

Ranveig spent a majority of his years taking care of the lands, but when his parents finally passed he sold them and used the money to move to the Capital city of Seahelm.  It is there, he met his wife Ingrid and formed a new life as tailors in the vast city, much different from that of his childhood in the fields.  Ingrid gave Ranveig two sons and one daughter, all considered to be of pure Reyurnt blood, these three were named Dalf II, Ranvergsen, and Ella Reyurnt.  While dwelling in Seahelm the family gained many friends, such as Bjorn Ashtyr and his family. Their children grew to be friends and as they became adults together each set out on their own separate paths. Ella became a shield maiden and died at the young age of eighteen. Dalf II went to explore new lands and has been thought to be lost at sea. Ranvergsen took on the family tailoring business and found himself a wife, Sigrid Reyurnt, who birthed him three boys.  They lived beside the Ashtyr house, in the upstairs of the tailoring storefront. The humble family shared many cheerful nights visiting with their neighbor, Baldur, in the Ashtyr noble home, as they had done as children.

As the kids played outside in the snow, Baldur and Ranvergsen would plot their expeditions to the Eastern Isles of Avar, pooling all their money to purchase a fleet, and seek lands in the name of their Kingdom, Norland.  Once they obtained their transport, they set out immediately, in a convoy of five longships, unknowing of what was ahead.

After several weeks of sailing, the fleet found itself disoriented and heading straight for a storm with no hope of going around Baldur commanded they sail straight through, but soon regretted his decision when met with thirty meter high waves and a ravaging current.  Baldur, hanging from the bow of his slightly larger boat, led the small fleet through the storm out of hell. But, it was to no avail as three of the five ships had disappeared beneath the churning ocean into the dark, calm, depths below.  Ranvergsen and Sigrid Reyurnt died that day, each commanding their own ship, and going down with them in the process.

Luckily for the Reyurnt bloodline, the two parents had put their children in Baldur’s care, and thus, they did not die that day with their parents.  Rather, they watched the boats sink, feeling completely helpless, as Baldur held them tight beneath his cloak.  This sense of protection Baldur provided, gave them a new father figure to look up to and they did not use the circumstances to blame him.

These last three Reyurnt descendants arrived in Axios and solidified their bloodline on new lands, with three sons to pass along their name.

The eldest was Erik Reyurnt, only 12 when their parents died. He is the only brother of the three who can recall the voyage and their parent’s death. Doing his best to not bring it up with his two younger brothers, and trying to raise them by himself. This helped Erik become a good leader and attributes to his later gaining Jarlship over the Jarldom of Mjöl.

The middle son was Leif Reyurnt, the strongest of the three, but also, the most hard headed.  Leif, although difficult at times, still did his best to help their new settlement of Mjöl grow. Learning how to breed animals, revealing a softer side to his, usually, quite aggressive attitude.

Finally, the youngest brother, was Agnar Reyurnt, known for delving deep into the mines as a young boy. Where he would often find a cozy spot, carved into the stone, to take a break, from chiseling iron ore, and read a book by candlelight.  Agnar was the most devoted of the three, seeking knowledge over power, a differing trait from Erik.

    Trials of Axios

The last three Reyurnt brothers and their sister reside on the northern side of the island Tahn, in Axios.  It is here, where they built their home and gained the respect of their peers.  Erik, the eldest eventually rose to the position of Jarl and made his brother Leif a Thane and, good friend, Dren Ofgarsson a Huscarl.  Erik was a fair ruler, making it his business to prevent any harm from befalling a single citizen of Mjol.  This was no easy task, but with the help of his family and friends he became a notable figure in Axios.

With the resurgence in this Norlandic settlement came second Jarldom.  This one created with different intentions, and began by the Ruric family.  After many years passed, during which Jarl Erik Reyurnt and Jarl Artyom Ruric ruled in peace, but the Ruric family never heeds from hunger for power.  Behind Erik’s back, Artyom declared himself the sole leader of their nation.  Erik would not have been as angered, when he found this out, if Artyom had not slaughtered a poor dwarf soon after and broken the peace treaty.  All of this had gone unbenounced to Erik, who was more focused on protecting his people from the threat of Uther Grimlee, a condemned and exiled man originally from Mjol.  After his exile, Uther took refuge in the Jarldom of the Krag, under Artyom’s rule.  Yet he still plotted against Erik, a noble Reyurnt who sought nothing but to keep his family safe by casting him out of the settlement.

  9. The Ofgarsson Family

4th of the Grand Harvest, 1602

A family arising from nothing, the Ofgarssons. Derived from the phrase off guard sons, this family of bodyguards have been known for their role in protecting royalty since the dawn of their lineage.

    Turk Bane

    7f7c1ab859.jpg

Many generations passed as the Ofgarssons gradually grew larger in size and notability.  One of the most notable figures is, Dren Ofgarsson, the personal huscarl and previous thane of Jarl Erik Reyurnt.  Proving to live up to his family name, and earn his own, by slaughtering heaps upon heaps of Turkish warriors. For a short time, Dren spoke nothing more than of killing these foul enemies, but as time went on the Turkish slowly faded from existence, eliminated by a single Ofgarsson.  Ever since Dren’s genocide of these scum, him and his family have been called Turk Bane.  This name not only marks their massacre, but it also hinders their existence from re-surfacing.  Often, there are Turks spotted throughout Tahn.  The name Turk Bane, allows people to rest easy, knowing that they will be safe from these heathen, as long as the Ofgarsson name lives on.

    Ancestry

Beginning in Vailor, the “Off Guard Sons”,  as they were known, started to form the collective that would eventually stem into a strong root system for the Ofgarsson family tree.  These early years for the Off Guard Sons were filled will raiding and chaos, the premise of which comes from their lack of work in the city watch.  With no leadership or morals, to hold them to what society deems fair, they killed and stole whatever they wanted.  Though, many victims may look down upon these sons, they still have received much glory and respect for their acts of braveness, being seen in their own culture as highly profitable warriors.  Toward the end of their lives the three remaining sons grew old.  Two of them, Sigurt and Upbier, had families by this point and passed on the name of Ofgarsson out of respect for the fallen sons in battle.  The third surviving son, Algeron, did not have a family.  But became the personal guard of a Jarl.  Though he was not a father himself, he was still set an example that was not only followed by the other two Off guard son’s children but every Ofgarsson from that point forward.44ba93f644.jpg

Upbier Ofgarsson had a much darker shade of brunette hair,

a broader face, and a more prominent nose.  He was known for being

the quieter of the two and kept to his home after having children,

raising them to fight and tutoring them of their history.
