What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is acting like something you are not or perhaps that you are whether it is a wealthy merchant, noble, evil criminal, or orc.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is taking what you know that you didn't learn in roleplay to apply to roleplaying scenarios such as knowing there will be an ambush ahead because someone on teamspeak told you so from another town.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is playing as an unrealistically powerful character with no reasoning for this power. An example would be jumping off a 30 foot wall but not being injured or dying when landing because you are a ninja or whatever.

Ark was born in the countryside of Felsen, part of the Holy Orenian Empire in Vailor of the year of 1568 2nd of the Sun's Smile. Living in the countryside they never had devote loyalty to the nobility since they are often subjected to the demands of the cities when there is famine or need for materials. Ark personally was part of a family with a lineage of merchants, cooks, and farmers. His personal goal has always been to gain wealth and fame but in his current status he just wishes to work in an inn. To him an inn is the best place to earn coin and learn about the lands surrounding. He in particular doesn't mind doing such in cities or the countryside as he doesn't hold loyalty, only obligation as he must pay taxes. Why? Well why would he when he is given naught but 'protection' from problems they have created from famine to criminals to wars. Of course who would he be to talk if he also grew that powerful too.
The move to Axios is a new start for Ark to break out of his old country-side habits. He's seen the new places sparking up from Johannesburg to many other smaller institutes. Unfortunately his family didn't make it during the scramble to leave Vailor and so he is alone. It took him several days to break the grief over the loss of his parents, but now he is ready to move onward. What has sparked his interests as well are the sightings of dwarves, elves, and orcs that he has never seen before. Truly he has been isolated, and truly he will aspire to learn and grow in these new lands with the range to woodcutters to smiths to anyone who is willing to teach him a path.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Currently he is laid back, but thinks everything out. He doesn't like disorder and chaos, but if it is required to get something done it will be done. Similarly he dislikes messes.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Currently as said he is laid back in achieving his goals, only wishing to work in a shop for now. However he always aspires for more and beyond to make money and/or achieve notoriety from being a merchant or other job.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He is good at keeping structure and organization, knowledge in how to read and write, as well has the silver tongue for negotiations and deals. He is lean but is not knowledgeable in fighting or swordplay currently.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) He doesn't have much endurance and can tend to be brash, leading to conflict rather than agreements.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Brown hair, Green eyes, 5'11", Lean but not pure muscle, tan.
