What is roleplaying?: The act of playing out a certain role within the confines of the character's backstory, personality, and pre-determined moral compass.
What is metagaming?: The use of information in game that your character doesn't already know. For instance, calling someone by their name when they haven't introduced themselves yet.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Abusing the role play through over-handed tactics or blunt insinuation/emote-age. It's similar to god-modding, where the end game is to win rather than provide entertaining RP.

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): Having been born and raised in their sacred forest, Gideon and his other siblings were very different. The parents saw Gideon's bright yellow eyes and knew he picked up a genetic marker that was not directly theirs, since both their eyes were of light blue origins. However, they were active forbidden practitioners of Chirr Ilmyumier, while not being Chirr seedlings themselves. Gideon learned how to hunt, despite his natural weakness and girlish frame. For being a mali'ame, Gideon had rather lighter skin. It's unsure his true genetic makeup, due to the nature of his savage parents. He naturally leaned on diplomacy than violence. One night, he had a dream, catching glimpses of Yeu Rthulu in both her snow-maiden form and a possum.
Nothing else is remembered from the dream other than a desire to visit the floating islands. After the dream, Gideon left his savage home on the rim of Linandria to pursue knowledge. From being isolated from other mali'ame thanks to his brooding parents, he thinks is destined to forever think within his human years (hae'lae kalem'valah yallre - as his dream stated, or at least what he thinks was stated). Hardly being a fan of the hunt his parents insisted on, he preferred to play in the trees and sneak off to visit his high-elf friend. Currently, he's run off from home with intentions to meet the wise and learned. He's been heartbroken before. A childhood friend named Dei taught him love, and protected him from bully's making fun of his girlish appearance. Currently, he's fascinated with the floating islands. He hopes to escape to them someday and wisen up to beyond his potential. Hopefully - he can find the information he needs in Haelun'or.
Personality Traits: A slightly provocative sense of humor, a coyness, and a disturbing lust for knowledge make up this wood elf/'mudblood'.
Ambitions: To rise to his potential (unbeknownst to him), and to someday see the floating islands. Maybe catch an ale'.
Strengths/Talents: Absorbing the environment and making a quick decision. He's super sensitive to subtleties in conversation.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: He literally looks like a feminine girl. You would not be able to tell otherwise. This means he's also weak.
