Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature: 

Bryophites are plant humanoids created by Cerridwen.

If transformed into one, the Bryophite keeps his former race appearance, though, even having similar traits, their fleshy bodies turn into plant. They are turned into this humanoid plant people by being reconstructed by the Virridian Moss, which tries to pull it's "victim" into a deep sleep and slowly grow over their body for a few days. Once the body is completly covered, the Moss eats them until there's absolutely nothing, though this doesn't mean their actualy death, since from the moss, grows a new body made purely of plant.

Once the tranformation is complete, the new Bryophite doesn't breath Oxygen anymore, instead, they exhale it, breathing carbon dioxide.
They oftenly grow stuff like flowers, herbs and other kinds of plants, and are also able to regrow their limbs.

Being a bryophite means the person's lifespam increases about 100 to 200 years. But all of this comes with a cost. They're all extremely flamable (who would've guessed).

Not just that, but their blood changes into sap, which is filled with nutrients and vitamins. They can still eat meat and plants, as they have pseudo-stomachs.

Ambitions: Oswald's ambitions are to learn magic and the world around him, trying to become open-minded unlike many people.

Strengths/Talents: One of his strengths or Talents is his really good memory and intellegence that he got from all the places he's gone through, achieving knowledge from different cultures and races, he also uses the "Logic" a lot to solve his problems, being able to solve mysteries in a easier way then others sometimes. (Seems like we have a Sherlock Holmes).

Weaknesses/Inabilities: His attitude, even being friendly, Oswald can be kind of ignorant towards other peoples feelings, hurting them on accident and leading it to being hated, which is why he had to move a lot in the 3 years, mostly because people tended to not like him and wanted him away.
