What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you take on the persona of someone else. Their morals, norms, behavior etc.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is simply put when you take knowledge acquired OOCly and apply it in RP, mostly for your own benefit. An example could be your friend giving you his location over skype and telling you he is being attacked, so you rush to help him.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is when you do something your character should not be able to. Power-emoting is when you force an action onto a player. For example *Jeremy hits Jimmy so hard in the head he loses conscienceness.* is not a legal emote, where as *Jeremy sends his fist flying full force for Jimmy's head* is.

Biography:
Rhys grew up in the Dominion of Malin among his kin, more specifically Ker'Nor. At an early age it became apparant that he was quite a rowdy kid with a limited attention span. Due to this he had trouble finding friends and often had confrontations with the other kids, more times than not leading to fights. In order to find an outlet for his frustration he was groomed from an early age to serve the Dominion through way of the sword. Spending most of his time training and not speaking to many people, Rhys slowly grew cynical and distant, not quite sure how to talk with people, but contend watching them from a distance. Studying them from a far he's become rather good at figuring out people's intention, as well as emulating emotions people would normally feel in certain situations.
As he grew older he would begin to take the field with his fellow soldier's, not from a particularly renowned seed he was content to serve as a footman, not having ambitions for anything more, simply glad to serve his kin and seed, hoping to do them proud by displaying his ilmyumier on his arm. Though he and his kin fought long and hard, eventually the Dominion of Malin would find itself under the thumb of the despicable Holy Orenian Empire. Considering the Mali superior over humans he grew more and more frustrated at Prince Artimec’s inaction and now with the Coalition growing in number, Rhys sees the chance for his bellowed Dominion to secede from Oren’s control. While not willing to join the Staunton’s, thinking it improper to serve under human’s he’s determined to do whatever it take to bring independence to his fellow Mali.
Personality Traits: Rhys is prideful in his race and dislikes anyone who would live in servitude. He often rubs the inside of his palm when worried and speaks his mind not able to internalize most of his feelings.
Ambitions: Rhys aspires for nothing more, than to serve his people and get them out from under the thumb of the villainous Oren Empire.
Strengths/Talents: A talented archer and duelist, he is fearsome on the battlefield. He can read and write like most elves.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Rhys is not as eloquent as others. Though he is strong and a hard worker, he never accomplishes much and is content to serve Elves with the same ideals than him, scared to take charge.
Appearance: Rhys is a lean Wood Elf standing at 5'9". With broader shoulders than more of his kin, he is an imposing figure with piercing yellow eyes resting beneath thick brows. He has long brown hair, though it is mostly hidden beneath his hood. At first glance Rhys has no visible wounds besides a scar over his right eye, though he might have a scar here and there from various fights.
