What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is a lot like entering a new universe outside our own. That's the beauty of it: We can make our own stories and places. Its a creative, and to me, sacred space.

Nathan was born, and grew up in, the kingdom of Bastion. While his family weren’t Nobles, they were prominent there for running multiple shops in the capital. He was born in the year of 1563 on a warm summer night, and, especially for having lived in Bastion, lived a sheltered and comfortable early life. His parents had the money to afford a proper education for him thanks to their families standing, and thus, he grew up to be an intelligent and clever boy.
What he didn’t know was that his Family had grown tired of the state of the kingdom and were actively planning for a Coup to overthrow the king.
One night, about one year ago, there was a knock on the door. Nathan looked up from his desk as his mother opened the door. What he didn’t expect were Bastion Soldiers to storm in, Swords drawn, as his mother yelled at him to run. It wasn’t until later he learned what happened. He managed to use his wits to escape from Bastion, and from there, spent about a year, wandering. He had an encounter with a group of Bastion Soldiers a month after he had made his way out, and managed to kill them all by blowing up a Gunpowder Store in their camp, taking a sword slash along his arm in the process. He continued wandering until he finally arrived very recently in Sutica. There, he plans to restart his life...and plot his revenge.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)
Clever and Intelligent - Nathan is a quite clever and intelligent person. He does enjoy things like books and puzzles. His Cleverness can make him dangerous at times.
Dark - While he wasn’t always like this, the loss of his family and his near-obsession with Revenge has made him increasing Dark for lack of a better term: He refuses to see the good in things, and while he doesn’t exactly enjoy killing and torturing others, He will do it if it means accomplishing his goals. He knows almost no boundaries.
Introverted - He isn’t big on socializing with others, or making friends, and will most definitely not want to go around speaking with others unless spoken to. He keeps to himself.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) To restart his ruined life, and try to rebuild himself and his family name, and then: To take revenge on the Kingdom of Bastion.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He is Intelligent, and can wield a Shortsword quite well.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Nathan is Physically weak and can't lift much, or effectively use any weapon larger than an Arming Sword. He also has quite a temper that can and will get VERY out of hand.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Nathan is 5'11, with Brown Hair, two differently colored eyes, and a Scar located down one of his arms that he tries to keep colored.
