What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of taking on a false persona and immersing oneself as that character. For a time it is escaping the self and becoming someone very different.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of taking out of character (OOC) knowledge and using it in-character (IC). This does not always need to be malicious, and can be as simple as a friend telling you of a secret and your character casually mentioning it in conversation. It can have devastating and unfair consequences.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power gaming can come in several shapes and sizes, but is most simply the act of overplaying one’s action. This can come from having a character commit unrealistic acts in emoting, or can even occur by a player slightly controlling another character’s actions when emoting.

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore):
Titus’ life, despite what he would tell you, is quite unremarkable. He was born to Augustus and Julia Yoric on a beautiful First Seed in the spring. Titus’ father, Augustus, married young and ended up becoming a priest of the Church of Canon. It was a simple, honest life for Titus and his older brother Julius. Titus would spend his young life reading on a barrel in front of a local tavern in Metz. It is there that Titus would learn news from around Axios, especially the fall of the Empire. Titus took pleasure in his dealings with various travelers and so-called heroes at a young age. Titus would read both the doctrine of the Church of Canon, but also short stories and scholarly books as much as he could, often asking his father for help with more difficult words.
When Titus turned 9, his brother Julius (only 14 at the time) trained the young academic in the ways of combat in exchange for scholarly help. Titus and Julius would spend their days reading and writing for their mother’s benefit, with Titus often having to tutor his brother in subjects far beyond that of a 9 year old commoner. The nights would be spent fencing and sparring, with Julius clearly having a distinctive edge over his younger brother. They continued this pattern until Julius turned 16 and felt he needed to see the world, leaving in the middle of the night while the family was asleep without a word. Titus and Julius’ last discussion was over the assassination of Philip and the ramifications of the County of Oswick, a conversation that only Titus truly enjoyed. Julius’ departure was blamed as the cause of his mother’s death, with only Augustus to look after the young Titus. The two became rather close, with Augustus grooming his son for the Church. Titus, now 20, has finally decided to leave his father behind and find his own way, struggling between the similarly adventurous desires of his older brother and the civil humility of priesthood.
Personality Traits: Titus is a rather strange individual in that his personality changes as quickly as the weather. He is prone to mood swings, and is described as rather irritable. Despite this, he often tries to act kindly to everyone and has a habit of doing his best to win others over. He is a fan of reading and intellectual debate, but is not a fan of physical violence or altercations (directly, that is).
Ambitions: Titus is at a crossroads currently. He has always been an academic, but is now caught between going out into the world to discover all that he can and potentially be a bard of sorts or joining the Church of the Canon. He also has a small desire to manipulate those around him, mostly for his own entertainment after years of hanging around the local tavern.
Strengths/Talents: Titus’ strengths are in the realm of academia, namely philosophy, as well as military tactics. Titus also acts as a social chameleon, often talking his way out of trouble and into favorable situations.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Titus is not physically adept, tiring rather quickly and not being very proficient in his use of weapons. He is also rather stubborn when it comes to philosophical or religious topics, which can be quite a detriment in social skills.
Appearance: Titus is a somewhat tall individual, standing at six feet. He has dark blonde hair and baby blue eyes, just like his mother. He lacks scars, and is always well dressed, typically in the red coat his father gave him before he left home. He does his best to look civil and clean in all circumstances.
