  3. Elle'nora curled onto her couch in her home, holding the bowl Awaiti had last taken a sip from. She pondered on all the things they had planned together. From the home cottage, to playing games on the 'ame with their peculiar habits. Her jaw clenched, thinking of their final words shared together. 
    "Will it be different this time?" Awaiti asked.

    "Of course - I promise. I'll never leave." Elle'nora replied.

    She looked up, and wept to the skies. 


     

  4. A paper would reach Elle'nora's classroom, as they were undoubtedly passed around in the Father Circle. She perks a brow whilst reading it, a simple shake of her head following suite.
    "Whatever happened to standing behind your actions? You yourself denied these accusations before the citizens of Elvenesse. Yet still, he comes to apologize not from his own regretful spirit, but from the fear that keeps him up at night."

    Elle'nora speaks to no one in particular in the classroom. She walks over to the torch lighting their hall and sets the paper ablaze, waving a dismissive hand.
    "Let this be today's final lesson - Always be ready to reap what you sow."

  5. Elle'nora picks the paper from a post near the gates, reading it as she made her way into the city. A curious brow raised after each sentence. 
    "Our differences may be clear as day, Eir'thall, but this ... This we can agree on. She'd state to herself. The 'ame continued on her merry way, folding the paper and handing it to another citizen as she came by the square. Her staff Asulsae would emit a small pulsing light. 
    "How long will we stand for these injustices? I say, no more. It's time we return to the ways we know."

    Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

             

    Nature's Communion

     

    Absolutely required for the work and life of a Druid, that which we call “Communion” begins within moments of an Dedicants Attunement. The Hum will surround the new child of nature, the new Druid, and head out, to perform their duties and find their path and place among the balance. To make sense of this song will take them many years, with meditation in the quieter places of the world, but afterwards they will find that the song of nature is less foreign; one travels, seeking the Hum, and using it to help learn what ails it, to understand its ebb and flow. It is unto like standing among the worlds breathing and singing, the longer you are in it, the better you can tell what it means. Where the current will move, what plant will blossom first, without needing to constantly sustain a point of focus. The most experienced of druid almost live in a state of communion, forever hearing and living among the Hum.

     

    Control of Nature

     

    The above is what is used to help form the platform for the second art, although they are often thought of as one and the same. Control, is not the proper word. Even the most Elder and experienced Druids do not control nature. We ask of it favors, coax it into movement and life, or assistance into helping us as we help it. This could be stopping a animal rampaging. Pushing for a root to emerge from the soil, or a branch to come down to you. Assisting a gathering of crops form, or herbs, even trees and forests themselves if one takes the time and patience to practice and hone this skill. As long as one respects nature itself, then it will gladly accept the hand offered to it and respond to ones request, it just takes time for one to get all of nature to respond  to a request, for even elder trees have a pride and stubbornness to them, and will not move for a unpracticed druid.

     

    Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

             

    No. There are only feats in the magic of Druidism, but those are not typically referred to as subsections. 

     

    Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

             

    (First emote; Preparation.) The Druii would commence by standing in a place filled with nature. The sound and smell of nature would help greatly to be in tune with the coming actions. From the breeze of the wind, to the whistling of the trees, all of these can be utilized to the Druid's advantage, and so it will be. 

    (Second emote; Concentration) The Druid would now hold the seeds within his palm. Feeling the soft touch of the grain, the earthly sound around them would begin to sound as though it were music. A soft hue and calm aura would begin to surround the Druii as they became more and more intune with nature. A soft hum would escape their lips.

    (Third emote; Action) The Druii would use their calm energy and soft aura to begin calling out to the animals nearby. Whether it was a firefly, or a wolf. All children of the forest would hear a soft voice calling out their name, in their own tongues. 'Come forth. You are safe'. The Druii would stand in solitude within the forest's heart, emitting from them is a kind and inviting energy to all.

    (Fourth emote; Effect) Finally, the surrounding animals would approach the familiar Druii, greeting them as an old friend. Some would prance around it, whilst other animals would simply stay around them. They would be able to communicate telepathically, using the Druid's gift. 
     

     

     

    Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

             

    Elleonora would open her eyes after a few minutes of meditation with her recently attuned student. She'd tap his shoulder to bring him back to reality, then gesture to the stream of water and the pond in front of them.

     

    Elleonora: "In one of these three cups, there is an ant. I want you to focus on everything you hear, and find the cup the ant is hiding in."

     

    The student would do as he is told, and his eyes begin to rest. Soon after, a faint glow replace the whites of his eyes and a break of sweat gathered on his forehead as he focused hard on the earth and nature around him. Moments later, he'd point at the middle cup, where the ant would run out of and climb onto the student's hand.  (Split up into 4 emotes, shown above ^.)

     

    Elleonora: "Well done. Now, return to me in a fortnight for your second task."

     

    *A few weeks later*

     

    The student returns with much more confidence and calmness, adjusting to the sounds of nature.

     

    Elleonora: "For your next task, I want you to focus and truly connect yourself with nature. I want you to move the lily pad to where I will throw the rock."

     

    The student closes his eyes and begins to focus on the sound and earth around him. Soon, he'd raise his hand and point towards the lily pad. His eyes glow faintly as nature connects itself to him, he struggles but does not give up just yet. With more push and effort, the lily pad dances its way towards him. As Elleonora throws the rock, the plant catches it and drowns into the water, before floating back up. (Divided into 4 emotes.)

     

    Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

             

    First, I will try and see if the problem is an IC matter or OOC. If it is OOC, then that is a whole different issue that can still be reprimanded by me, or by staff.
    However, if the problem is IC, then it will be dealt with IC. Should the student not head the warnings of their fellow Druids/Guides, they will quickly be unattuned by the Druidic Order and only given another chance when they show change through action.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

    The Spriggans are creatures made completely of wood and infused with enchantments. They resemble Dryads in a way where they are summoned by a person and bound to a tree, and take custom to that tree, becoming "soul bound" to it and can't leave it unprotected(OOC'ly you can only be 300 blocks away from said tree.). Spriggans are specifically made/summoned to keep balance and protection in the nature around. These creatures will attack any, unnatural beings (Golems, voidal horrors, undead, etc.) unless the Druid that has tamed them orders otherwise. Like the Golems though, Spriggans have their weakness in their core, which is covered by roots and wood and such. Spriggans can also be greatly harmed by magical flames, whereas regular flames do nearly no damage. But, they also have many strengths where they can use their own body as a self defence weapon.

    Elly did not live a grand life. She was a simple girl, with simple skills. She was a farmer's and baker's daughter, and had an amazing life as a child in Lealin. Though, growing up, Elly seemed to be a bit different from her 5 siblings, she seemed to be the only one who had the slightest curiosity about magic and its wonders. Her parents had forbidden the works of magic in their household after a terrible incident occurred. Elly's great uncle practiced magic artifacts in the house more often than not, and one day injured himself to the point of no return. Paralyzation.

    They were all horrified and then on forbid magic, and claimed it as a natural disaster within their household. Though, Elly was horrified, she was also amazed and intrigued. Years past on and her thirst for knowledge and magic only grew, so she set out to travel the lands in hopes of learning more about the world. Her first destination was The Cloud Temple. Commonfolks had told her if she travelled far enough, she'd find a library bigger than her imagination, so Elly walked, and took by the sea some times too, until she landed to the location. Upon arrival she was already greeted by a large, beautiful sky whale that dived in and took a dozen of birds with their mouth faster than she could blink. She was shocked, horrified, and in awe of what just occurred, she's never seen these creatures in her boring home town. Nonetheless, she walked up the cloud temple roads and finally arrived to the 'Grand Library of Dragur'. She was mesmerized to say the least.

     

     She met a kind kin to her own, an elf named Lyeth. He walked her around the library and showed her the scholars that work here, the many books that they have, and even some magical artifacts. Ellyonoraeryn II was beyond happy, but sadly she could not stay there forever. Elly spent a few days at an Inn, before travelling with nobles unto an unknown destination. It felt like years for her, but she finally arrived to the Citadel of Acael. Another mesmerizing sight. How could her parents hide all this beauty from her?

     

    Finally she took one last ship, and almost all of her money, to travel to Sutica. A place filled with not only her kind, but many others. She was thrilled and nervous to meet different people from different cultures, seeing as she never really has. Elly jumped into her mattress and lied her head on her arms, wondering about the adventures that await her.

     

    Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Elly is kind and soft, though she can be cold and harsh at times as well. She is thought of as brave and would sacrifice herself for her family and companions. She has a thirst for knowledge and understanding of the world, which makes her ambitious, though sometimes too curious, which can lead to dangerous situations. She chews on her nails a lot, fidgets with her fingers and feet. She likes eating, sparring and reading, and dislikes violence, cruelty and misery.

    Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Ellyonoraeryn II aspires to be a professor of anything. She wishes to spread knowledge, believing it is the strongest thing a man can have.

    Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Hand to hand combat. Since magic was forbidden in her home, she was taught how to defend herself against thieves and bandits.

    Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)  Her bow skills, and social skills. 

    Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Elly stands at about 5''6. She has a fit body structure, along with a sharply defined face. Her hair is brown and long, but is tied up in locks with beads. Her eyes are an outstanding blue, and she has no scars. She wears lumpy clothing that are big for her, and has the complexity of tanned sand.
