What is roleplaying?:Creating a persona for a online game or tabletop game and playing as that person as they should be; doing what they would do and such.
What is metagaming?: Using knowledge from sources outside of rp, for instance in teamspeak a friend says “hey that guy is named Zack” and then in rp you use “Zacks” name when your character hasn’t been told his name in game.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Emoting something that is irrational which your character in rp couldn’t do… for instance (Johnny would pull out a spear and throw it at the man’s head) when the character (Johnny) doesn’t have a spear) or forcing an emote onto someone, for example (Johnny throws a spear into Jesus’ head, killing him instantly)

Biography : Gort was Born in the capital city of San’Torr to a cruel hating family. He did not understand how to do simple tasks, like eating or drinking, until he was 6 years old. For his first 6 years, he was force fed by a spoon. His parents despised him throughout his life, forcing him into exile across the land when he was only 8 years old. Thus his journey began, to raise his own family and do upon to his children what his parents did to him. For most of his life he lived in the harsh mountains outside the dwarven city of Kal’Olmith eating vast quantities of fish and cave bats to sustain himself in the cold. His blubber was one of the only things that kept the fat 11ft tall orc warm and alive. Most of his years up in the mountains were spent secluded and alone, until one day he saw a small, and devilishly handsome, goblin roaming around with a few humans and a dwed.
The orc for many years would just watch the goblin inside in dock town Dredge Water tinkering and creating various contraptions. One day while preparing his morning meal of 15 cave bats and 5 pigs he saw the goblin, but this time he had a strange contraption on his face. It was some sort of goggles or lenses to help see far away. The small goblin with his strange spy glasses had been scouring the mountain for veins of ore to collect when he saw his fat brethren upon the mountain. At the sight the goblin screeched with joy, running up the rocks to greet his newly found companion. Gort was then given the nickname, Gort the Defiler. He lives to serve his goblin master who has transferred his hatred of elves onto Gort.
