How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I looked up something along the lines of Nations RP Minecraft Servers, found this one in a subreddit I think.

What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you act as if you are a character and in a world other than our own.For example, In reality you could be a mailman, but you could roleplay as a elf warrior in a fantasy universe set place ten thousand years ago.
What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is when you are roleplaying but you use information that your character doesn’t actually know. Say I know where an orc secret stronghold is, however my character doesn’t. Then, I make my character travel to that stronghold. I know where it is, but my character doesn’t, so it wouldn’t make sense that my character would go there.
What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Powergaming is when you force something upon another person’s character. So let’s say my character is in a debate with another character, then I say “Suddenly, the other character (let’s say, Rob), Rob, agrees with my character (Let’s say, David), David. He drops the debate, saying that he now agrees with David.” The person who controls Rob never agreed this, but I’m trying to force it onto him.

Go’ren was born in the Higher District of Haelun’or. His father was Nia’dh’san, and his mother was Takita. They lived in a modest house, not small but not massive, either. His father ran a potions shop while his mother took care of him. Go’ren would sometiems go to his father’s shop, seeing him create potions and practise magic. This, along with an abundance of magic within High Elven culture, caused him to fall in love with the art of magic, especially Alchemy and Enchanting.
For the rest of his school career, as much as he tried magic, he simply couldn’t do it. While other kids excelled, he struggled, falling far behind. Until adulthood, this would be a common pattern.
His parents started to prepare him for when he left their home. Even if Go’ren would be a magic prodigy later in life, he would need to sustain himself. While his father’s shop did flourish later in life, when he started it, it was tiny and barely kept him going. So Go’ren learned the bare bones basics of woodworking, farming, and other such professions that he could build off of to sustain himself whilst he tried to learn magic, his actual passion.
At the age of 19, physically matured but practically a baby in elven standards, he left his parents’. With the loan they gave him, he bought a small 2 room house, one room serving as his kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom all squeezed in and divided with thin walls, and the other serving as his shop. He would sell all sorts of things he got there, started to build off of the professions his parents taught him, meanwhile still passionately trying to learn magic. He would then try to search for a magic teacher.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Go’ren, like most High Elves, prefers rational and logical thinking, over emotion and passion. He loves Alchemy and other such magical professions, like Enchanting. In fact, he loves magic as a whole.
Being born a pure High Elf, he showed disdain towards impure High Elves, and people of other races. He believes pure High Elves are the rightful High Elves, with impure ones being unworthy of a second thought, and that they should all simply be kicked out of the Silver City.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Go’ren aspires to be a Master Alchemist and Enchanter. He loves the art of magic, like most High Elves, and would find it a real honour to become a famed Alchemist and Enchanter.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Go’ren shows promise with magic, he is very persuasive in arguments and, while not usually given the role of leader in anything, he does well with it.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Go’ren is not very outspoken and doesn’t take initiative often, unless given the role of leader.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Go’ren is within the average High Elven height range, at 6’1”. His skin colour is pale white, with platinum hair. He has a small scar running through his right eyebrow and branching out, showing because there’s no hair there. He got it when he walked in on his father practising magic, surprising him. His father cast the wrong spell, causing a small explosion, causing the scar.
