  1. As a totally new player that joined Monday, I think the guides and whatnot on here need a major revamp more than Monks need to change anything in-game yet. The list of mods to install is outdated and you don’t find that out till after you’ve downloaded everything. There’s really no explanation whatsoever about the economy or how it works and how it’s 100% player-ran besides voting, and that literally everything is reliant on RP and that there’s no rank system or anything like that that other RP towny/faction servers tend to have (this was the biggest hurdle since 99% of Minecraft RP servers have some sort of admin shops/ranks/towny). There’s really no explanation whatsoever about any plugins the server has, nor is there really anything about locking/lockpicking which seems like a pretty vital thing to know as a new player since unlocked chests can be stolen from. There’s really no explanation on creating other persona’s, and how that’s handled if you have 2 or more characters. There isn’t any explanation as to what you should actually do as a new player starting off, as the new player guide is just a more in-depth review of rules and breaking down what RP is and that (IMO) does absolutely nothing on what you should expect to do as a new player when you first join. Like as a new player, I have no idea wtf to do besides joining a Kingdom and then...? If the info is out there somewhere, it’s really hidden and not easy to find.

Kelx was born and raised in the War Uzg in the underbelly of the city, getting by on the scraps his family could scavenge and the little coin his father could earn from mapping blueprints. He witnessed what it truly meant to be poor, with the coin his father earned usually only lasting for a few truly good meals before having to resort back to scraps thrown away by Uruks and Ologs. Even though his parents raised him to believe food was for nourishment only and not for pleasure like all orcs believed, he still secretly looked forward to the days his father would return with enough coin to purchase a rack of fresh mutton, or perhaps a sliver of blood pie. Once he was old enough, he worked with his father and learned the trade of tinkering and blueprinting and before long, found himself coming up with his own ideas. By the time Kelx was of 20 years, he had ideas and ambitions that were beyond just your common everyday tinkering and blueprinting. He envisioned something greater. Something words nor he could even truly explain, something that left him many a nights frustrated with the scribbles of nonsense. He simply called it “The Great Vision”, and it became his obsession. Kelx spent the next 15 years (now age 35) working with his father, creating blueprints and designs for common day tools as well as weapons all while secretly writing page after page in journal after journal every night about “The Great Vision” and how he would one day start his journey. Two years later, after writing up a blueprint for a blacksmith that had taken close to a month to complete, he and his long time friend and fellow Goblin Dryrn took their coin they had been paid and went to a local tavern for a drink to celebrate, and indulge in something tastier than the common slop they ate. While there, an argument between multiple Uruks broke out and soon enough with the taste of blood in the air everyone in the tavern was itching for a fight. Dryrn was the unlucky spark that ignited the fire that night, with an accidental stumble into a table and the spilling of and Uruk’s mead being all it took for the Uruk to pull a dagger and stab it clean through Dryrn’s throat, before he ever even realized what had happened. And with that, the tavern broke out into an all out brawl. Kelx did his best to pull Dryrn’s body from the tavern midst the fighting, but quickly found himself at the mercy of an Uruk whose blade was already coated with blood. After that, his next memory was waking up 5 days later in a bed with a bandage over his right eye, and bruises all over his body. He later learned that the Uruk he was at his mercy with was struck from behind right as he brought his blade down towards him, with the blade only slicing across the right side of his face instead of his throat. He escaped with his life, but his right eye was now white as bone. Taking this as a sign that his journey should begin sooner rather than later, Kelx set off in hopes of finding the free city of Sutica and establishing himself. Perhaps he’d become a trader, or own a tavern, or become the personal tinkerer of some rich noble. Above it all though, he had a dream of traveling across the lands and seeing what there was to offer.
