  1. All events I have currently planned are being worked on. Right now there are three or so I have some information written about, please bare in mind I work on them to the best of my abilities even while I have active exams at school so some of them are poorly detailed until I can finish writing them all.  Given the fact I simply re-used my old events was because I have not been told any of those have ever been used (Uncertainty) and I was told I didn't need to provide more events I have written on the side.

    Timezone(s) you mainly play:

    GMT+4

What group/nation do you consider to be your main?

    Dwarven nation.

Have you held a staff position before? On different servers ?

    Yes.

Do you currently hold a staff position?

    No.

Do you plan on applying for other staff positions? I might apply for media?

    Not at this moment.

Have you ever been banned before? If so, how long ago and what reason?

    Have never been banned.

What style of events do you feel you enjoy creating? (Low Fantasy, High Fantasy, Quests, Dungeons, etc.)

Horror with a psychological twist(Such as Hannibal, The Shining and Silence of the Lambs.), Adventure/Quests that take you into worlds unknown, I feel as though every time I write an event I have to look at it from the perspective of a person who will be participating in the event to determine if the outcome will be successful. As far as writing events go, I truly enjoy ones that take longer to solve/finish as more people have the chance to join in and take part.

As someone who is fairly newer to LotC, I have only seen the end of the world event, pvp ones, and the Krugmas ones as well as the ice maze (which I didn't do). I can see that staff try to make events in which multiple players can participate in and that they allow multiple races to enjoy it. While I encourage events where a group or party of players can engage in there are some however such as dances, quests to fight giant monsters I see them mostly secluded to a single nation or area of the map which means during the event players will have to run the already huge map to partake in it, creating events should mostly encourage others who come from a multiple ranges of nations/clans or even organisations to have a good time. While still making it accessible for them to join the event during the beginning instead of showing up halfway or even when it is over, my main passion for writing my ideas comes from the idea and goal that everyone should be allowed to have fun, not just single out nations for events but to try and encourage new ideas that may have not already been thought up that go into sometimes sensitive areas by bringing a light onto it. So, in summary, I try to be as creative as possible and to step out of my comfort zones because really, you need to adapt to new situations in order to experience something new.

List three factors you feel play a part in a quality event and expand upon them.

Setting the stage for your audience:

What is performance when there is nobody to watch it? Exactly the reason a playwright explores different environments, emotions, characters even themes is so he is able to capture the audience using a range of effects and personalities for each character so that the audience is always thrown off guard by the actors performance. For an event to be good one must be able to carry it without notes on a script, to improvise an event should it face an unexpected turn. But it is a way to ensure that the event is always left on a cliffhanger before revealing a plot twist; you could even latch onto people's interest using it to your advantage. You should be able to entertain and interact with a wide range of characters and leave them talking about the event for days still in awe of how it was carried out. This is something those who have a true passion for entertainment will always try to achieve.

    Hands on experience:

I have seen most events being severely one-sided where one puppetmaster controls the strings. For example, the ET run a performance event (music, dancing or even the theatre) and instead of allowing players outside the team to be extras they only allow people on the team to carry out the event and partake in, this example is one most of you know where during every shakespeare play the woman role was always played by a man. My idea would be allowing hired actors to participate with the staff as if it was a real drama performance. While the outcome and performance are phenomenal it would leave players feeling as if they just wasted their time on nothing, if the event was always one-sided. The rebuttal being oh we have events where players can fight monsters or creatures played by ET actors so they already have a hands-on experience. I would say that these events were planned out within 10 to 15 minutes and are just there purely for players to write lore stories of how they killed a drake, dragon etc I want to expand on those ideas to allow a larger portion of the community to participate in large-scale events that I would hope took a few days to plan out/build rather than someone just disguising as a mob and rping being killed. An important idea both in real life and here is that you can not exclude people for long, it will give them the negative idea that they will never be able to engage in anything either because it’s locked to a specific race like player created events or because as most of you guys know we live in multiple time zones we need to start allowing the planning and creation of large scale events to attract more roleplay/players and those who participated to come forth with new event ideas to make Atlas more enjoyable as we see it now its a huge map adding some new areas wouldn't hurt.

    Darwinism strikes again:

The ability to adapt to your environment is often very important when hosting events as there can be numerous limitations and faults either during the event or prior either being yourself can no longer host the event you must either postpone it or.. Have someone take your place which I am sure no person wants for their own event, but not only do we run into problems personally there are sometimes clashes within events either a fight breaks out in character or even the usual spam of ooc we see flooding the chat either an argument over something minuscule, or someone just trying to ruin the rp for the others while this is always an issue where the worlds clash and collide, one should know better than to lose one's temper instead ignoring the problem and moving forth with the event for the participants who actually want to enjoy themselves. What one must always remember is there is always another solution to the problem, and you should not let it/others change how you would proceed with your event should it run into issues simply breath and think of how you can change the situation in your favor for the better. Not only can conflict change the situation of an event but by a player for example doing something irp that would catch anyone off guard (eg You are leading players on a rescue mission to save a monk from the clutches of a demon, your team and you successfully take the monk away from danger but someone in your group ends up killing the monk.) the roleplay itself would take a turn, as an actor you would have to adapt the story so one would seek the path of revenge for the monk that was killed. You as the actor could say that a traitor is with the group so what was a rescue mission ends with you killing that which has betrayed you.

The main point one always needs to remember is to always remain calm, remember there is always a solution even if you fail to see one you can always ask for help.

Which member(s) of the team would you attempt to emulate and why?

I have not been on long enough to.. Sort of leech onto a specific staff member.

Provide three event scenarios, in total, of the style(s) you listed above:

    Whispering Willows

“Do ye believe en tales uv magical creatures tineh tings tat’ be shinin loike ah star, ay these beh teh creatures dat live onleh en teh whisperin willows. It beh a magical place tat’ onleh shows ets roots evereh tousan’ years... If ye beh luckeh enough teh follow teh whisperin sounds uv tes’ tings ye will find wonders beyond yer wildest dreams’, an' tey say tat onleh tose’ wo are uv pure art’ and moind will be able teh understand teh words uv teh creatures’. Ye can nae beh an ol’ man all ye be earin is teh sound uv chimes ahn whistels’. If ye beh up fer teh challenge ye must foind teh first clue”

    Loves the last bite

Though many men are born with a pure heart, those still fall into the desires of these beasts.  These Women their voices resemble that of silk and gold, smooth as if they were sent by the gods to do favors for men.To allow them to succumb to their desires before they meet a fatal end.. Why is this tale of woe so important you may ask? A plague. A vile disgusting beast has been pursuing the blood of young males. There remains left torn open or even burnt till they are left. Almost unrecognizable. We call people and urge them to protect themselves from these. These beasts of sin must be brought to justice.

You descendants of these lands are to be warned of the dangers. It would appear as if the beast has left a path. A hidden bread trail for those of you who are capable of anything will be rewarded for slaying the beast. Or beasts…

    *Following the Bread trail*

Examining each of the body one would take notice of roman numerals. Carved into the bodies flesh itself or left on a torn journal page. They may have one to three sets of numbers those who are able to decipher the coded messages would find that they spell out certain coordinates, could it be the lair of the beast or. A trap. As you follow through the bushes and stumps of rotting wood, and flowers the scent of rotting flesh lingers through your body growing more potent as you approach what looks to be a large eroded cave. As you near the entrance scattered bones and skulls would take you off guard as they formed a sort of pathway into the cave courageously you enter, as darkness and a sense of isolation follow you closely as if it was a parasite leeching off of your fear.

    Lost temple

Forgotten through the ages left to rot in ruins, stood a temple adorn with gold, diamonds its beauty would send anyone to perform their greed like desires to steal the temples jewels and artefacts but one should think twice about stealing from this place it is told that any jewel or item stole from the temple would only find misery. They would be cursed if they did not return the jewel within a month those brave enough to take such items would notice that they themselves would be drawn to protect the item, be it desire or addiction, they would stop at nothing to protect the item going so far as to murder their own kind for fear of them taking their precious away. Who you ask is responsible for this curse who's temple walls only brings misery to those who fall prey visitors will notice the excessive use of gold for it would be none other than Grimdungan an ancient god of greed.

Why do you wish to become an ET Actor Member?

I'd like to say beforehand that even if i am dismissed for ET i will still always try to bring event ideas to the staff, being denied won’t stop me from being creative my passion is writing and i won't let this keep me from bringing creativity into the server, my main reason for wanting to join ET is simply to pursue my writing passion by showing off my creativity in the team, how well i can work under pressure even when given difficult events to plan out all with different themes i want to prove myself capable of more than what I am now.

What strengths would you bring to the team?

I could start with what everyone says teamwork, and communication is a strength any functioning human should already have but it would be repetitive, in my eyes I can offer my creative abilities to think outside of the box to bring new ideas as the ones I wrote above into fruition, I can adapt to new situations as in role-play scenarios eg Villain, Hero or even the classical Dame in distress. As I have shown in my roleplay I can handle many characters and differentiate all of their personalities so they are each specific and unique in many ways. I can roleplay all sorts of characters, for example i currently have Camilla la Bambina who's a mafia daughter where i focus on an Italian/mafioso style of roleplay, whereas my other character is a necromancer. So I have experience in areas that require both character emotes and environmental emotes.

    What are your weaknesses?

For the most part I’d say that I tend to lose the string in a sense, I often work on three different things at one time so I can save time and effort by just doing it all together. So because of that I sometimes lose interest fairly easily while attention is something I struggle in. I will always put important things such as planning events and homework first, as I do take pride in my work.

How much time could you give to this position in the foreseeable future?

I try to be at least three to four hours on each day from Sunday to Wednesday, even in school I try to get on. As my weekends are Friday and Saturday throughout the week, total at least twenty eight hours more, if I stay up.

He is beyond imaginative and creative, he can always see improvements in dark areas and is an amazing person, even before i had gotten to know atles i was amazed at his work and help during the new map and was suprised with his ideas for the depth of detail he had put into it including helping me build my herbalist shack he made the most smallest edits made the most difference. He would make a great addition and i look forward to seeing his work.

No. From past experiences she can clearly be extremely toxic to the point where she'll attempt to target you in a way. As after we got into somewhat of an argument, she targeted my High Queen on her orc and it to me felt like total powergaming. Along with afterwards offering vip out to whoever would then kill my dwarf character. I think having a positive outlook and not holding grudges against others, or taking them in/out of rp, is one thing an ET Actor should probably be best at avoiding. In my opinion, she hasn't reached that point yet. -1

I welcome your criticism. While I understand the badblood between those who took part in the rp involving your character being killed, they were just meming around. It was all fair crp and we meant it as a joke. I apologise for you taking any harm to it but we did not force pk on you. I jokingly threw some shade in OOC and I apologise for that. I hope that we can move forward and away from our past conflict and return to a neutral ground. I'd like to improve and more forward.
