Both parents brought in a steady income, keeping the family modestly, but aptly supported. Cynthia's childhood was that of any other's, close to her parent's shadows, and being a dutiful daughter. Showing aptitude at the local grammar school, Cynthia went on to study at an advanced girl’s school. She learned languages, literature, the study of music, art, philosophy, and history. She also had advice from the Headmistress on how to educate children, and perform with deference in noble households. Having a few close friends at school, they all dreamed of one day bettering themselves through service to a high household. Dreaming of one day being able to take care of her aging parents, Cynthia graduated, and armed with a letter of recommendation from her Academy Headmistress, she has set out to make her way independently.
