What is Roleplaying?: Adopting an alternate persona in a (in this case) fantasy setting where one is not as themselves. Controlling the character to interact with the world and other roleplayers to create a story.
What is Metagaming?: Using outside information (OOC) to use ingame (ICly). Such as immediately knowing someones name, age, profession, favourite colour, phobias, mothers maiden name, name of first pet, PIN, birth town, street they lived on when they were 12, when meeting them for the first time ICly. (And somehow managed to get those information somehow)
What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Forcing another character/player to react to a situation that is unreasonable. e.g. *Brenda used the wushu finger hold, by pinching the uruks finger with her thumb and fore finger, and bringing her pinky up. She would savour his expression of abject horror before flexing her pinky immediately breaking the laws of physics by scattering his electrons in all different directions thus resulting in a strong positive charge of his atoms would cause his body to repel and disintegrate. Probably causing some catastrophic energy dissipation that would harm Brenda. (But I don't know...I'm no physicist. Also godmodding kiiiinda displayed in that example)*

Originally hailing parents hailed from the dwarven city of Kal'Omith where they were both tinkers aiding the dwarves in their works to the best of their capabilities especially when the city was commissioned. Although the dwarves hospitality did not run far, the halflings elected to remain as the situation was mutually beneficial in that there was a ready supply of miners and workers whom make great use of their services yet simultaneously believe them to be lesser.
Though as time passed, it became evident that the setting was not too conducive to an environment that halfling kind generally seek, and thus with some accumulated wealth and studies would depart the city. Paying handsomely hired mercenaries to transport their belongings and themselves to the halfling settlement Willow Hollow. On the journey, the wife giving birth to her daughter whom they brought up instilling an air of curiosity about all things. Be it tinkering with mechanisms to the society of other races. Living peacefully in the secluded village, she grew up exploring surroundings, and aiding her parents in their trade whilst learning of their past. Becoming fascinated by the intricacies of mechanisms to the psychological distaste of dwarves towards others. Treating her education quite seriously, she has become fascinated by details that she can physically examine and study but as a result her ability to note subtitles of the emotion is somewhat stunted.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Particularly excitable when presented with something new, more of an experimenter rather than a planning cautious thinker. She can come across as a bit direct in certain conversations, although with strangers she will maintain an air of professionalism. Often partakes in some farming finding the act therapeutic in stilling her hyperactive mind.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) A successful tinkerer in keeping with her family, yet also retain a relatively peaceful life-style. Although longs to learn more of the world.
Strengths/Talents: Particularly sharp memory, and deduction of mechanical objects
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Emotionally ignorant, in herself also. Can sometimes come across as incredibly blunt and lacking tact. Sees socialising more as protocols rather than activity.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) 2'9", they are a red-head with heterochromia iridium. Relatively lithe build and bespectacled, usually quite pale but that depends on how often she spends gardening. Diminutive size coupled with a small frame.
