What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is putting yourself in the role of a character and representing them as best you can through a variety of situations.
What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is treating roleplay as a video game. Using Out-of-Character information or ideas to influence your characters actions and decisions rather than using In-Character motivations.
What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Overplaying your character and forcing actions on another character. Refusing to let them appropriately respond or react to your actions.
In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Julian was born in a small, lovely town far removed from the woes of the big city. The town was comfortable and warm and the people never wanted for much, leading Julian's young life to be one of happiness and without responsibility. Thus, he became a rather carefree and idealistic young man, and was enamored with the idea of stories and songs. He'd always been blessed with a very magnetic personality and lovely singing voice. By the time he turned sixteen, he dreamed of travelling the world and being one of those responsible for creating the epic tales that would be recited for generations. He struck out on his own and traveled to the city of Adelburg, where he began his studies. For three years, he spent his time researching history and legends, learning how to play various instruments.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) He's a seemingly optimistic and engaging young man, always ready with a smile and a quip. Your archetypal bard. Of course, many find his mannerisms to be insufferable and vapid, and those with more serious dispositions find him hard to stand. He enjoys what you'd expect - performing, reading, the works, and dislikes almost nothing, always willing to try something before writing it off.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Speaking, performing, and writing are his greatest strengths (at least in his own mind).
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) He's very frail and fragile, unable to do much fighting at all. Additionally, he has a tendency to take things less seriously than they should be.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He's on the shorter and skinnier side. His hair is typically kept at shoulder length, worn in a way that's supposed to look effortless though in reality is a carefully doctored look. The clothing he wears showcases a gaudy, extravagant sense of style.
