High Elf Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 60 Biography (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) In 1582, Rinnith was born to two High Elven scholars in Haelun'or. When she was only eighteen, Rin moved from High Elven society to live with her aunt Minriel after an unfortunate accident occurred that claimed the lives of her parents. Her aunt Minriel was an outcast, due to a disreputable relationship with a human, who lived in a secluded home outside of Johannesburg. In was in that house that Rin grew up and developed a handful of quirks, namely her tendency for mischief. She would often sneak out to find entertainment and stir up conflict in the nearby town, even swiping various mementos to add to a growing collection of stolen goods. However, she always seems to find a way to avoid the consequences of her actions. The only question is, for how much longer? Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Rinnith tries to appear innocent to others, though it isn’t particularly difficult to determine her true nature through the more observant eye. Rin finds most of her entertainment through the thrill of conflict, and she isn’t above planting a bit of trouble somewhere just to step back and watch the aftermath play out from afar. She isn’t necessarily mean or evil, but she definitely has a mischievous streak and perhaps finds the line between harmless jokes and full-on schemes to be rather blurry. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Her ambitions usually involve pushing the boundaries in whatever mischief she’s up to. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Convincing and tricking others. She can definitely play up the charm when she chooses to. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Morality. She can’t seem to help but get into trouble at times. Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) A young High Elven girl with violet eyes and white locks of hair fragrant with the scent of lavender. Although on the shorter end of Elven standards, she stands tall above various other races at 5’8. Rinnith has a thin frame, and carries herself with a natural grace. Metagaming: Metagaming is when you make use of out of character knowledge in interactions that are in character; e.g. when you have your character know something important that they haven't actually learned through roleplay. Power-emoting: Power-emoting is making your character's actions unrealistically powerful or forcing your character's actions onto other characters without giving them a chance to react back. This is usually avoided by using "attempts" in your emotes rather than just writing out the action.
