  1. Out-Of-Character Information What’s your Minecraft account name?: TeaAddict_ What timezone are you in?: Central European Time (CET) How old are you?: I am 16 years old Are you aware the content and interactions on this server may not be appropriate for children under the age of 13?: I am aware. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: I have read and agree with them. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: "You must roleplay within server lore." I think the Lore of a server makes or breaks the immersion of a world, and trying to rp outside or weasel around that Lore, to me, just breaks the immersion for everyone. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): Not really. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: A friend told me about it Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): N/A Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once): Not yet, no. (I will be on vacation for the next two days, so it might take a while before I can get on : / ) What is Roleplaying?: Rp'ing is taking on the role of a made-up character and acting like them in a fantasy world What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is taking action on the basis of information your character doesn't have, but you OOC'ly do. What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Powergaming is taking the power away from another character to react to your emote, and deciding the outcome for them. In-Character Information Character’s name: Kiria Carran Character’s sex: Female Character’s race: Wood Elf Character’s age: 56 Biography The first three years of Kiria's life, where nothing if not relatively boring. Where the story really starts, is with the death of her mother Kellynn, a kind but strongwilled elven woman. Stricken by grief and given courage by a few too many drinks, her father said some unforgivable things about a man who could've hanged him for even thinking such things in a public place, no less speaking them. But he didn't. Even so, her father was ashamed. So he took his only daughter and their stuff away from Linandria, leaving his daughter to grow up on the tales about the place and the culture she heard from her father and drunken tales spat around in taverns. He only knew farming from his previous life, but adapted quickly into a merchant of goods in Adelburg. Not with a company of his own, but with enough income to pay for a family of two and a decent enough education for Kiria. And while she, like any elf, loved learning, what she loved even more was being in and around the buisness. Listening to bargaining, talking to sailors and merchants from regions that layed further then she would ever travel. This is how she became a mascot on her fathers work. Customers would often ask about the health and schooling of the excitable little girl when she wasn't there, and when she was they would sneak her small trinkets and candy as thanks for the interest she displaid. And this is how she grew up. Not around the most educated of folk in terms of studies and booksmarts, but around people brimming with tales and cultures, and it rubbed of on her. She developed a tongue and vocabulary made for bargaining, argueing and joking around. She also grew up with an unexplainable sense of homesickness. Longing for a place and people she couldn't even remember, but being too scared to go back. So she didn't. She even teded to stay clear of other wood elves, for reasons based in unrational fear. She stayed with her father, doing odd jobs around the city, and watched the humans she knew and loved grow up. Seeing the children she babysat have childern of their own. Seeing men and women she knew and loved waste away when old age took them. Some never even returning from their travels when they said they would. So, over time, she (knowingly or not) avoided creating strong bonds with the people she would see lowered into their graves a thousand times over before her day would come. Friendly conversation and flirty banter still made up most of her day, but she learned how to keep her distance. But once in a blue moon, people would break through her walls. Such was the case with Max. An older captain from a small tradeship that had been a customer of her fathers for years. And one day, in a drunken ramble, she asked if she could join him on the ship. Make some adventures of her own. See what was out there. And to her surprise, it was but a month later, when she turned 54, that she would board the ship, now traveling from dock to dock, doing the things she heard so many stories about and helping around the ship. But, she hadn't yet forgotten her birthplace. And one of these days, she promised herself, she would go there again. Maybe even live there. Personality Traits: - Loud. Her laugh can be heard form across the hall, her angry bargaining from two docks over. - Sociable. She would like to believe she can talk to anyone about anything. - Sceptical. It comes with the job. If people are nice, they probably want something. - Curious. Everything is interesting to her, especially if it involves her heritage Ambitions: She would like to figure out a place where she can belong. Continuing her studies, and keeping her heritage intact along the way will be a nice bonus. Strengths/Talents: - Talking. And lots of it. Give her a topic and she'll ramble on about it for half an hour if not stopped. - Confidance. Even when what she says is complete bull, she will sell it and make you believe it. Weaknesses/Inabilities: - Guarded. Has a problem with letting people in, especially people with a different race then hers.'s pissed, she'll make that clear to you. It doesn't matter if what she is saying is even making sense, she'll see red before her eyes - Judgemental. Good first impressions matter to her, and if you get on her bad side when meeting her, she'll hold that against you for a while. Appearance: The first thing to notice about Kiria would be the mess that is her hair. Brown-reddish salt crusted curls that just can't seem to make their mind up about which way to grow, being kept back and vagualy neat in a big messy bun at the back of her head, tied together with a green and blue scarf. Simple clothing pieces made up most of her wardrobe, the colours keeping in tone with a culture she never knew, but still wanted to respect. The jewlery coming from different ports, the mostly crude pieces of metal announcing her presence whenever she moves. She stands around 5'9, her body build for agility and lightly toned from the work on ships. She definantly isn't build for heavy lifting, but she could manage the odd box or two. The second most notable thing is her smile. A almost fox-like smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth at all times. Skin:
