Fid never new his parents or any family of his own. He didn't even know if his family was still alive and at his current time of existence he doesn't care, he's made it on his own. From as far back as he can remember, he only knew the orphanage as a kid. The orphanage of Sennisten, in whichever forsaken kingdom it lies in now, Marna or something, but it didn't matter to Fid. The orphanage was a dirty place, one he spent as much time away from as possible, and that time was spent out on the city's streets.
Fid was the top dog at the orphanage and among the street urchin kids though, the alpha dog. Every kid knew him and knew not to mess with him or they'd end up like Jimmy, missing all of his front teeth. As he grew older, he got accustomed to the dirty and poor areas of the city and eventually kicked out of the orphanage at the age of 14. Overcrowding and what not. So he moved onto bigger and better alpha dog things.
When it came time to leave Axios behind, he snuck on one of the ships and left. Now Fid is a man, and he's been the alpha dog of the Dough Boys, a street gang for a while. But that all changed when the king came and killed all of his men. A deal gone bad or for some a setup. Now it's only Fid and he's got new paths to go down.
