Gamaso

Valos was born in a fairly small and calm highlander village in the rural parts of the Kingdom of Haense. The area was rather peaceful until the Coup of 1637 when criminal activity significantly increased. Left with little to no protection, the village became an easy target for bandits which lead to its destruction. The local warlord plundered the houses, slaughtered the men and sullied the women, turning the village into his fortress. At last, help arrived and a fierce battle took place following the ultimate defeat of the bandits. Unfortunately, it was too late for Valos and his family as all except him were dead. Shocked by the terrifying events that occured before his own eyes, the young boy refused to leave his secret hideout - he just silently observed as the soldiers abandoned the devastated village. After Valos gathered enough courage to face reality, he walked out of his hideout and started looking for food and water, but suddenly he fell into the mud bursting into tears. What was the point of living after he had lost everything? It was then, when he met a tall man with the name Archigenes that took him home. Archigenes rised Valos as his own child and teached him everything he knew - from swordsmanship to different crafts. With the help of the wise highlander Valos grew into a decent man, filled with ambition to seek his own path. The wound of his childhood would never truly heal, but at least he was given a second chance in life - something his five deceased brothers didn't get. He has a strong sense of justice and just like a true hanseti he wants to prove his worth by fighting for his kingdom and protecting the innocent. Like many other young men, his journey has led him to the royal capital Markev - the greatest city of the kingdom!
