Marcus Dubfiodh is a Kaedrin Highlander born and raised in the Kingdom of Norland (Immigrant ancestors). He is a compassionate man but has a cruel side. His cruel side is drawn out when someone means to harm/has harmed an innocent person. He devoted the year he turned 18 to the study of broadsword fighting and blacksmithing. Being an expert swordsman, he will toy with his opponent, taunting them and letting them think they're winning, right before they lose or come close to loosing a finger or worse, their life. If they start crying and begging, however, and he may let them go. He is not too good with projectile weapons.
Marcus has a fascination with large reptiles, and keeps a journal on the amazing creatures he sees during his time away from home. He is unmarried, but hopes to be married some day, even though he's 34. (That is NOT an invitation for anyone to walk up and ask him to date. I don't RP like that)
Marcus is a rather witty man, and will slip in the odd wise crack every now and again as long as it is appropriate. He was unpopular in his younger years because of this, and because he didn't know when and when not to make a joke.
Unlike his Highlander kin, Marcus would prefer to avoid a fight if he can help it. He is also not one to boast about his achievements.
Marcus has a strong hatred for evil.
