Atrithar was born soon after the Laureh'lin genocide. His father, a mali'aheral of Haelun'or, perished honorably in the Battle of Leyulin. Thus, Atrithar and his mother grew up impoverished, so he sold himself into servitude to an aristocratic family to provide for his mother. The second eldest son in this family was a priest of the Church of the Canon who taught Atrithar following his voluntary conversion. Many years later, fearing a threat to Atrithar's life due to the start of the Axis Powers rebellion, he woke Atrithar one night, handed him a satchel of money and basic supplies, told him his servitude was no longer necessary, and to flee the Empire. Atrithar then wandered the land laboring and studying until the fall of the Orenian Empire. He returned to Haelun'or to study at the College, where he excelled and sought to become a prestigious Maehr'sae. Decades later, in the current year, Atrithar spends his time at the College studying the natural sciences and wandering the land for further research.
