Quill was abandoned at birth. She was found by a local farm family outside of the kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. She was left in the barn on some hay. The male owner of the farm took the newborn inside to be loved and take into care by the female owner. The male was named Fabian and the female Annie. They were loving parents to Quill until she grew up to be around 18. Fabian and Annie finally confessed to Quill because they couldn't hold in the guilt of not telling her. Quill was angry and upset, she decided to go out into the world and find her birth parents. Her journey continues from there.
