Auerie'l grew up in Haelun’or, among his kin, in Axios. Once a handsome, charming young elf, much of this beauty and innocence was taken from him during the Calamity of Axios, when he saw many people he knew laid low by the terrors of Gazardiel. Emerging into the bright future of Atlas, he was led down a dark path; he joined up with a mercenary company at first, then evolved into doing double dealings as both a soldier and assassin against (and for) the resurgent Empire of Man. He fell into a depressed lull half a dozen years ago, isolating himself from the world out of shame for his bloody past, and only recently has he emerged - still clinging to his isolated lifestyle - to try and find new work as a soldier once more.
