Hi, It’s been a very long time since I’ve played on here, partly due to school and partly because I just haven’t had the time. However, I’ve been having a lot of free time lately so I will start RPing on here again! That’s all, hopefully this time I’ll be able to keep a good balance between this and school. -Amaya

Hey guys, So I haven’t been playing on the server a lot lately, mostly due to the fact that school has been getting in the way. And as much as I love RPing on LotC, school is more important. Therefore, I’ve decided to take a break so I can focus more on my work. This is probably temporary, and I might come back in a month or so. I’m just not doing as well as I should be right now, and I need to dedicate my efforts to doing my very best in school. Hope you all understand.

Amaya was born into a noble Heartlander family in Carolustadt. At the age of five, her family visited Dragon’s Spine, where they were attacked by a band of dark elves. The guards managed to defeat them, but not before a rogue spell hit Amaya, cursing her. Afraid that the curse would turn her into a monster, Amaya’s family abandoned her in the forest. Luckily she was found by a wood elf, and raised as one. Amaya was taught swordplay by the elf, whose name was Qeta. Qeta was always kind to Amaya, but when Amaya was fourteen, Qeta was gravely injured by a pack of wolves and died the same day. Grief-stricken, Amaya left the forest in search of a new home. She made her way to the Dominion of Malin, where she disguised herself as an elf. There, she learned much about the history of Atlas, and later on, where she came from. Amaya was disgusted by her family’s neglect for her, and vowed to never go back to them. Ever since, she has wandered Atlas as an adventurer.
