I have been playing Minecraft for many years, and I love RP servers. The one I used to play for years had a horrible update that made it into a more mindless game, so it was just trying to keep you on with no real goal. 

I love to build homes, monuments, or anything that requires time and effort. Just as a warning, I have a spelling disability. I do my best, and this has nothing to do with my intelligence or ability to RP. 

I play DnD with my brother and his friends once a week, so I am comfortable with RP. This server seems like a perfect opportunity to meet new people and evolve my ability to change mindsets.
