Within the walls of the soon to be abandoned Eulersburg, a weary albeit joyous man sits in the garden, enjoying the comforting sounds of birds chirping, water flowing and the wind rustling the pergola above. Years has the man spent in this home, writing this piece, and with a satisfied smirk he shuts his notebook and prepares to put to work his retainers on making copies and posting them around.
The many years of my life have been spent in various situations–long stretches of turmoil and even longer stretches of prosperity. Throughout my time on this blessed earth, many lessons have been learned and I’ve decided that I should write these down and teach them to any who have ears to listen.
Thus, the Way of the Turtle was devised. This symbol of peace and prosperity has represented my family for decades, and the calming lifestyle of the wizened animal has guided me to all my successes. Simply, I ascribe much of my mental fortitude to this philosophy.
The Five Tenets of the Turtle
Through the long nights and dark times that plague these lands, you must be a beacon of positivity that can inspire and uplift those around you. Mirth and joy are the first step–with these tools at your disposal, you will spread cheer and disperse negativity in swathes.
When evil arises, and preys upon the innocent, a true Turtle will stand tall and protect them, for it is your duty to help those who need helping and to protect those who have no shell of their own.
Though combat is sometimes unavoidable, a true Turtle sees violence as no more than a necessity–a tool to be used when all else fails and if it can be averted, it shall; for words resolve that which fists cannot often.
Patience is a virtue that a true Turtle follows closely, for the hasty hare rarely wins the race. Dedicating half your day to rest and half to furthering yourself and your goals. There is time for action and time for rest, and you must balance these two closely if you seek to master yourself.
A turtle’s memory is long, and thus you shall remember those who brought you up and kept you close. Your home is sacred and you must protect it and all who dwell therein, for they are your kin. Kinship is incredibly important, for the soul is not whole without friends and family.
I hope these tenets and beliefs lead any who choose to follow them to a better and more satisfying life, as I truly believe that if you master the Way of the Turtle, you will master yourself.~Stefan Euler, the Turtle

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:
The Ghoul is the quintessential undead warrior, the kind that make up the bulk of a Necromancer's undead army, shambling towards their demise over and over in the name of their master. They find themselves feeling nothing but hatred for the living, which has consumed their minds and driven them to complete madness. They remember little of their past lives, and find themselves craving the flesh of the living. They are weak to fire and gold, though of course a bit of skull-crushing works as good as anything else. They only find joy in causing suffering unto the living, such is their hatred and jealousy. They find themselves returned to the land of the living by a necromancer, who binds their will and makes them completely subservient. The Ghoul follows orders obediently, their thoughts irrelevant.
Upon death, a ghoul CA must drop all their items as they move from one corporeal form to another.
If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?
Clad in shattered and crumbling platemail, bones jut out of every crevice, ruining ancient emblems and forgotten heraldry in unlife--the eyes, glimmer blue with immense hatred...

Automaton
Creator's MC Name:
SPACEODDlTY
Creator's RP Name:
The Iron Baron
Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:
The Automaton is a work of alchemical brilliance, humming to pseudo-life with its lifeblood. They are the step before machine spirits, the key difference being that machine spirits have had a descendant soul placed into their husk. The sentience of these machines is dependant on their gear-hearts, which would lead to an irreversible PK clause in case of being destroyed. Otherwise, if the gearheart is retrieved, they can have their robotic husk built anew so they may return to their duties. Typically, automatons bear likeness to their descendant counterparts, although they don't necessarily match their physiology. Skeletons are typically made to permit them easy movement and are made of inorganic material. The gearheart is the centerpiece from which metallic arteries pump lifeblood through the form of the automaton. They receive their senses from modules, allowing them to receive sensory information like sound and sight, as well as allowing them to speak and think for themselves. To keep them loyal to their maker, they may have an obedience vessel installed, which is done by the creator inserting 20 milliliters of their own blood directly into the automatons stores of lifeblood. This prevents said automaton from acting against their maker. Automatons of a size larger than uruks are made of tougher frames, restricting their movement to a mere stroll. To dent the plate and be able to damage to inner parts, it would take roughly 4 heavy jabs from a blade or 3 swings from a blunt weapon. They may also be made of rare ST materials; in which case you would need to hand over the appropriate amount to a member of the ST team.
If an automaton finds themselves in need of more power, they may Overclock their gearheart, increasing the amount of alchemical lifeblood being pumped to allow them to exceed their normal abilities. An automaton may perform minor overclocking, increasing their overall strength by 25% and allowing them to run [1] block further than normal. They may maintain minor overclocking for [4] emotes, but they would only be able to perform at half their normal abilities for the rest of the rp encounter.
On the other hand, major overclocking to increase their strength and speed by 50%, but for only the duration of [2] emotes without perishing. Afterwards, the automaton is completely inert and unconscious for the rest of the rp.If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?
Distrugebot Chordus is an iron skeleton, clad in a heavy and thick suit of armor, shaded a light grey with his skull representing his terrifying visage, designed to inspire fear in any who may gaze upon him.

The Adrian Cooking Guild
5th of Sigismond’s End, 1909 AST
With the ending of the Grand Adrian Duma of 1909 many new institutions were brought to the Adrian peoples, the most notable being the guild of chefs, bakers, sauciers, stir-fryers, and etcetera. More simply known as the Adrian Cooking Guild. Its founding members set out with the purpose of cataloging and preserving the many recipes of the ancient duchy and to of course encourage an increased interest in the arts of Adrian cooking.
Guild Founders
Baron-Mayor | Stefan Euler
Proud son of Adria, Stefan Euler descended from an old Adrian family and has dedicated his life to the culinary craft. Many of his recipes come from his 'old lady', referring to his grandmother. An avid enjoyer of meats, Stefan is learned in the ways of seasoning and preparation and has made a name for himself as the tavernkeeper in Velec. People have come from all over the realm to enjoy his meals, and he has taken a great liking to seven-course meals to truly highlight his skills and versatility. An inventive chef, he has pioneered many new meals that are now staples of Adrian cuisine--such as his much renowned Whale Steak.
As a member of the Council of Chefs, Stefan seeks to preserve the traditional meals of Adria, as well as bring in new cultural influences from all over.
Lord | Paul Francis Varoche
Descendent of the Varoche family and born within their homeland of Illatia, Paul immigrated to Almaris at just ten years of age; holding tightly to the traditional methods passed along through the family of roaches. From wines and cheeses, to multiple course meals, he would be considered quite the connoisseur. Specializing in butchery and traditional Illatian dishes, Paul's popularity as a chef has garnered him quite the reputation throughout the lands of Aaun and beyond. Whether being served food and drinks by him, or simply sitting at his table, your palate should be prepared for quite a grandiose evening.
Within his role upon the Council of Chefs, Paul plans not only to return discipline to the kitchen, but to emphasize passion, skill, and intrigue as intricate ingredients necessary to preparing a dish that will make you scream, "Ammazza!"
Lady | Lorina Varoche
Born to Lord Chancellor Sigismond Varoche and into a long line of culinarily gifted individuals, Lorina Varoche was born with the talents of her ancestors. Being just the juvenile age of 11, she has more than proven her prowess within the industry of food. Primarily a baker, the youthful Varoche is the characterization of intelligence, compassion, and culinary expertise. While not only competent with foods, Lorina has also published a cookbook containing traditional Adrian cuisine, it rumored to be the first of a series. If Adrian cuisine doesn't suit your fancy, perhaps Lorina's Lemon Drop Candies will.
As a member of the Council of Chefs, we are more than certain that Lorina will continue on her path to greatness as both a pâtissier and confectioner, pioneering the success of those who come after her.
“Fabius Bracchus in his element, cooking a traditional Illatian dish for Duke Red.”
Their purpose set, the founding members sought to form a council of chef’s from amongst their number. Baron-Mayor Stefan Euler laid forth the following goals as Cook-General of the guild of chefs, bakers, saucers, stir-fryers, and etcetera,
-
Assist aspiring cooks in mastering their trade and becoming masters in their own right.
-
The accumulation of culinary knowledge and the sharing of said culinary knowledge.
-
The training of professional court chefs for the aristocracy.
-
To promote tourism involved with foodstuffs, showing the rich and robust culture of the Adrian peoples to the rest of the world at large.
To complete these goals, the Adrian Cooking Guild shall be taking apprentices who wish to learn the culinary arts from the various different guild chefs. Those not oriented to the chefly arts are of course invited most gleefully to partake in the consumption of the wondrous creations of the fine Adrian guild cooks.
“Ancient Adrianite Raevir cooking the first mud stew.”
An event to showcase the skills of the council of chefs shall take place in a short time, dubbed “The Great Adrian Cook-off”. The purpose of this event is to showcase the versatility of the various chefs in and around the Duchy of Adria, as various cultural dishes from around the Human world will be presented before any attendees who are to enjoy the ample food. Around the end of the day, attendees will be polled as to which meal was their favourite, and the eventual winner will be awarded two hundred and fifty mina as well as a special trophy which will be unveiled during the polling.
The Honorable, Lord Stefan Euler, Baron of Eulersburg

A young man by the name of Nuvian Py'lrie reads the letter and decides to write back.
"Dearest Raziel,
You most likely do not know me, for I have kept to myself for the time I have been alive. Indeed, you have most likely received letters from all sorts of people. So, I suppose the question in your head is: "Why should I take this nobody in as a student?"
I think the key word there is potential. My mind is an unstocked shelf, and my eyes yet unopened to the way of the world. I am yet to truly understand myself and the land I live in, and so I must admit that I've little to offer and much to gain. However, I believe honesty is key, and perhaps you'd appreciate having something of a blank slate to teach.
To conclude, I believe that I would make a good student, even if I am perhaps something of a dark horse. Regardless of the outcome, I appreciate your time and thank you for reading.
Yours truly,
Nuvian."

The Adrian Whale Hunt
Artist's interpretation of the whale huntAfter hearing word from a strange sailor, Erik Euler informed his brother of a large and dangerous whale, in the ocean close by! Eager, the Eulers rallied the Adrians to their camp for an expedition they'd all remember.
Stefan Euler, captaining the crew and steering the Euler's very own ship, a mighty vessel passed down to them by their predecessor, Albrecht. He led them into the open sea, which was unnervingly calm. The cool breeze blew as the Adrians were joined by Ottomar von Alstreim and a companion of his on their trip. Jan Euler passed around harpoons to all--especially made by him for this trip. Soon enough, the whale surfaced and sought to destroy the ship!
At first, all the harpoon throws missed--giving the whale a chance to damage the hull. Quick thinking from Stefan averted the ship completely sinking, though a hole was made. It was Jan Euler who landed the first hit, and soon everyone else followed, having the whale linked to the ship by almost a dozen ropes! Then, it was time to stab the whale with lances!
However, the brash lord of the Adrians, Duke Heinrik threw himself at it with his longsword--soon falling into the water and losing his sword. Bravely, Santiago dove in after him, but the whale pushed the water around it away, sending Santiago away though eventually they both had to be roped back to the ship by the others. The whale, however, had stopped resisting and was brought back to camp by the brave Adrians!
A success, all things considered!
Ave Adria!

Stefan Euler would smile widely, stroking his mighty moustache with a look of sheer satisfaction. "Adrians, one and all!" He'd cry out, helping his elder brother Jan, who had injured his foot, back to their tent.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?
Alchemy
Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:
Alchemy, put simply is about breaking things down into their baser forms, and using them to create something else. It's about understanding what things are made of and what they can be used to make. The actual things you can create are extremely diverse, ranging from sauces to corrosive acids. There are five primary elements within alchemy that broadly constitute all matter, Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Aether. There are also Symbols, that are much more specific, some examples being Reduction, Burning, Peace, and Poison. By identifying these symbols, extracting them, and then brewing them together, you can make alchemical potions.
Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?
Alchemy is an incredibly broad and varied feat, and as such there are very many subcategories of alchemy, too many to list them all here. Some examples would be Animatii, Tawkins, Black Alchemy or Smoggers. Whereas more basic alchemy is about mixing elements and symbols, the different subsections of alchemy can get more complex both in what they require and what they can accomplish. A standout among subcategories would be Further Alchemy, considering it's just alchemy "taken a step further" to manipulate the physical world.
Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?
E.G. (Cockatrice's Breath)
Extraction: Stefan Euler yawns after another late night of travelling from town to town for the purposes of merchantry. He collects a king's ivy which has been drying on a rack for some time and proceeds to grind it down in a mortar and pestle until it is a thick powder. He tosses the powder into a wooden box, which he seals and inserts bellows into, using them to compress, decompress and blow the powder until it leaves a thin remnant, through which he sifts to separate the different air-prefixed symbols. Then, he takes the rest of the reagents, in this case an amberiddle, tippen's root and a blight cluster, and grinds them all up in a mortar and pestle. Then, he puts them in a cast iron pot filled with Aqua Vitae and boils until a simple powder remains. Using his trusty sieve, he sifts the liquid through a sieve to separate the desired symbols from the liquid.
Potion Crafting: Now that he's extracted the needed symbols, Stefan cleans up after himself and sorts them into marked vials, for use in the process. After a while of said cleaning, he fills up his cast iron pot with Aqua Vitae once more and brings it to a low boil after fifteen or so minutes. He pours out the extracted symbols--Three Air Sound, six Mundane Impediment, three Mundane Poison, nine Mundane Rigidity and three Mundane Curtailment. Using his beloved oversized wooden spoon, he stirs the pot vigorously to mix the Aqua Vitae and the symbols. Then, he retrieves three bottles, into which he pours the liquid carefully. Giving them a light shake, they take on a greyish color and he corks and labels them.
Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?
The mirthful man stands tall before his would-be student, speaking cheerfully. "Alrighty! Today is the day, you're finally gonna make your first potion! I'll be acting more as supervisor here--it'll be up to you to show me what you've learned these past few lessons. No pressure--If you mess up, you can always try again!" Stefan gives them a huge slap on the back. "Show me how to make a Will o' Bottle today. I'll tell you the steps, you've just gotta enact 'em." Stefan pulls out a clipboard from his pouch of many things, and clicks his pen. "First things first, wash your hands and clean your station."
(Student Emote)
"Good, good. Next up--time to extract the symbols. Three fire heat symbols, two mundane chaos, one mundane growth and one mundane instability. Two methods--but they're all pretty simple, so I'm sure you've got it!" The man beams positivity as he gives his words of encouragement. He watches closesly what his student does, making sure to correct any minor mistakes they make and set them on the right course.
(Student Emote)
"Wicked! You're doin' great! Now pick out the correct symbols and toss 'em in these handy dandy vials. Once you've done that, start boiling up some aqua vitae and get ready to mix like mad." Stefan continues to encourage as he observes his student following his instructions.
(Student Emote)
"Perfect! Now watch and repeat what I'm about to do--worst part to muck it up would be now." Stefan takes the pot and gently tips it over, filling up one of the three prepared glass bottles, before corking it. "Boom. Simple as that. Now you go--Carefully! Rushing won't do us any good here.." The man reiterates once more.
(Student Emote)
"Great job! You've really done me proud here--I'm a pretty great teacher, right? But hey, what's a great teacher without a great student? You're officially Euler Certified, congratulations!"
Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?
I'd have a chat with them OOCly about it, and tell them what they were doing wrong and why it's wrong, if it happens again and it just seems like indifference or laziness on their part, I would reach out to a member of ST and fill them in on the situation, in addition to potentially dropping the student depending on the situation.
