Origin:

The Chase family is a young and rather small Mali'ame family, originating from Anthos, it was originally a minor House serving The Princedom of Fenn. After leaving Fenn, Cillion Chase moved to Lin'ame with his family to live with all the other Mali'ame.

The Chase family members usually have a light brown skin and green eyes. They are slightly taller than the average Human.

I believe that a root of the problem is an inflated sense of entitlement. Too many people think that they own this server and instead of taking developments as a change to "the game" as you would for a console release, its in some way a personal attack on you and your kingdom of pixels. We are all builders of a story. But if you disappeared altogether, the story would go on. Humility is an admirable trait and not weakness. I just feel like people should be more willing to take things as they are. And the easiest thing for that is a complete fresh start to come with new eyes.

 

So Lago asked for solutions: 4.0 is a total wipe. That's my solution. Just as most world changes before it, we should enter with no items, no cash, nothing. And whatever event that is whirring around in the LM and ET brains for the End of Ze World, it should provide an opportunity for mass PK'ing. Not forced PK. But as an advisory that perhaps we've built up too much around ourselves and would benefit from getting the fresh perspective about what this place REALLY is by starting over.

 

If you tick off a few of the OP boxes, then maybe you should seriously consider a PK. Start as a completely different race. Not an alt, but main character to get invested in. Try doing things totally differently and see what another corner of the server looks like.

 

But this IS the internet of Generation Z and the community are more prone to attack each other from behind the protection of the miles that separate them from their opponent. And that is never going to go away.

I can agree with this, but I'm not sure if people with OP characters will actually PK them. I do think we should all just try to be nice, and we should all just try to make this community better, there will always be people who will try to hurt us, but if we leave those people be, and show them their behavior cannot be tolerated they may stop.

So is this how this topic will come to an end? There has been no solution for this problem, and this server really needs one, there are too many jerks on here who love to harras you and make you feel bad. There really needs to be a solution for all of these people, I don't really want to see this topic end without a real solution for this problem, I think everyone who's reading this needs to try to help fix the community, because one person won't be able to do it, and we all know that. If everyone actually tries to be nice, if everyone reading this starts being nice to eachother, that would get us somewhere, I'm not saying this probelm can be fixed entirely by just being nice to eachother, there are still people who won't do it, but we can atleast try to make this community better.

This thread is beginning to sway into a debate about which RP is the way to go. Do that somewhere else. This is a post about bullying. I know it does happen everywhere, and sometimes the best way to deal with it is to just take a break, let it go. Unless the bullying is happening directly to you, I think it's hard to say what someone else should do, when their experience is different. Thats the only fault in this thread. However, if you take a moment to read it over, and then all the replies; it's clear that people do have a good understanding that bullying happens and it is wrong. However, it also looks like people aren't really willing to make a change, or think that nothing can be done. It's the internet..sure..there's a lot of mean people on the internet- but we're also a community. A community with rules, and people who's job is to enforce those rules. There will always be bullies, and those who break rules-- but shouldn't that mean we only crack down harder on them when they do? I don't think the community has improved really. It's constantly changing, and the only thing we can be absolutely sure about is the servers growth. New players take after the server stereotype, and I have seen the server in a much nicer state than it is now. All it takes is the slightest of efforts to make someones day, instead of ruining it. Many of you will hold grudges, righteously or not they do exist. The battles will only continue if you speak them allowed. There would be no need to walk away from being insulted, if the rate of insults thrown between two parties was decreased. Dont you all think that would be nicer? Less ban reports, less arguments, and less fighting between us all? If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it. It's really as simple as that.

I agree with Sasha here, however, it may sound easy to just leave eachother be and insult everyone less, but it's not that easy at all.

I've seen some real pricks on lotc and they are just not willing to stop insulting you untill you feel guilty yourself, untill you feel like it's your fault they are mad at you, this is the problem here. These bullies and assholes on lotc want to make people feel guilty, they want to feel like they are in charge, like they have the power to break someone mentally. These people won't stop untill some serious actions are taken. I hate it when my friends on lotc get harrased/bullied, and I've had those issues aswell. These people feel like they are in charge of us, wich they are not. Some serious actions HAVE to be taken against all of these bullies on lotc, and with serious I mean punishments. I've been harrased here before, even though it was skype, I would call it severe, and nothing happened. I think these cases should be taken way more serious by the staff. But these fights never seem to stop, a person insults you, you insult that person, and it just keeps on going for a looooong time.

Alright, I'm gonna say NO here. The good feedback given by toxicapple is just because they are good friends, I think it would be better if someone who doesn't like him that much actually gives some good feedback on Mason here.

Alright, to be honest I never thought Lotc's community whas that good, so much immature people treathening to ban report people for every single mistake you make, and this is only one problem. I'll admit it here and now, I've been an ******* allot, but I'm not the worst, deffinitly not the worst person to talk to on lotc, I've been thinking about quitting lotc allot of times now just because of the community treathing people like ****. I really think Lotc's community needs to improve, all the pricks out there actually need to go. I also think harrasment is something that should be taken very seriously, even though it would be trough skype, harrasment may start as something small, but it can quickly get out of hand and really hurt people deep inside. If Lotc's pricks keep showing up I will probably quit this server once and for all.

I'm gonna say NO on this one, I'm getting the feeling you're actually applying for every single staff team out there. I think you just wanna be a staff member to brag about it and help out your friends instead of helping lotc.
