Please make the changes below in your next application.

• Please try to correct the Spelling & Grammar across your application before you submit any changes. It doesn’t need to be perfect but it’s best if your application is as easy to read and understand as possible.
• Your Powergaming and Metagaming definitions are incorrect. Please refer to our wiki page on metagaming and powergaming for the server’s accepted definitions, just keep in mind that plagiarism is not tolerated.

• Please refrain from using Clichés in your character’s backstory, such as their family being murdered by orcs. These backstories are overused on the server and it will make your character less interesting in roleplay.

• Your backstory needs to include a piece of Server Lore (other than your character’s race, family, a date or one of the server’s maps).You could include the name of the city your character was born in, the religion they follow or an event such as a war that your character has lived through. Check out the LotC Wiki to fix this.
• Your character’s Name doesn’t really suit a dwarf. Unless there is a specific reason for why their name isn’t standard, please change it to something more stereotypically dwarven.
• You must include at least one clear Flaw in your character’s personality traits/quirks. This can be any negative physical, psychological or social trait.  

• Most dwarves worship the Brathmordakin, a pantheon of gods who are prayed to in temples, not churches. While your character is by no means required to follow this religion, it would flesh them out a lot more if you specified which religion they follow as their piety seems to be one of their primary traits. 

• Your character’s Skin is incomplete and doesn’t really fit the part for a dwarf. I’d recommend that you check out the LotC Skin Archive for use and inspiration!

• Your response to the Roleplay Scenario needs to include a description of at least one action, as well as the dialogue you’ve included.

• The only human religion that has a connection to the sea is the Red Faith as far as I’m aware. Jeorg “The Storm Rider” is the paragon of the sea. If you’re having trouble finding information on the wiki about this religion, I’d recommend taking a look at this post on it.

• The Powergaming definition that you’ve given, though a good example of one of the common definitions of the term, doesn’t match the definition of powergaming that we use on the server. I’d recommend checking out our wiki page on powergaming to find LotC’s accepted definition (just remember to use your own words).

• The nazgul, Blauburg Castle and the great evil are not a part of the Server Lore, so unfortunately they cannot be part of your character’s backstory. Make sure only to use lore that you find either on the official wiki or here on the forums in your application.
• The name of the current continent that LotC is set in is Arcas.

• You must include at least one valid server Lore Reference in your character biography (other than your character’s race, family, a date or one of the server’s maps). This lore reference could be something like the name of the city your character was born in, the religion they follow or an event such as a war that your character has lived through. Please fix this using the LotC Wiki.

•  Your response to the Roleplay Scenario should include some kind of description or action as well as dialogue.

• Your character cannot have ties to being Famous, as this hasn’t been achieved through roleplay on the server and so people won’t have heard of Farrimond Turren before. This means that your character’s backstory won’t make sense when you’re roleplaying them on the server.
