Katarin is the lone daughter of a Heartlander Banker of Presa de Madera (her father) and a Highlander from the lands surrounding Santegia (her mother). She had quite a sheltered upbringing, learning the Common language and a decent standard of Santegian, taught the religion of Canonism from a young age (though it has little bearing on her life anymore) and taught traditional manners. At the age of 18 she selfishly left home with a small bag of coins, clothing and a flimsy golden dagger (claimed from a bank client as repayment, not designed to see combat) in search of another life after her father’s bank went through a rough patch. In the 5 years since, she has not returned home, instead roaming the lands of central Atlas, frequenting pubs and taverns in hope of something greater. Once her travels took her all the way to Gladewynn, where she came to envy the tall elves, infinitely older and wiser than she, tall and fair-haired. Within the last year she returned to central Atlas, occasionally serving as a mercenary to anyone with the cash for her service and a problem that could be solved with weapons. Although she has experience of small petty fights, she has not witnessed war or any true armed conflict. She is relatively naive to the wider world still. She hopes someday to form an army and fight for the good of the continent, not minding much under which banner, but she is still innocent of the horrors of war, and does not truly comprehend what this could be like. (P.S, since there’s no ‘additional info’ section i’m going to put my opinion of the skin I’ve made for this character and how it might affect the chances of being accepted here) okay, i redid the clothes on the skin from scratch, trying to include a little armour. It still looks very fancy, and the white is quite bright, but the design itself is a little more tolkien-y (if still quite bright) if it’s still not in the style of the server or the palette doesn’t fit just tell me again
