Sarah (human) was born in the Kingdom of Curonia to a merchant and his wife. She was well-educated and raised in the rigid class system and somewhat sexist system of inheritance present there. Her inability to mind her place and backtalk toward superiors limited her already limited ability to ascend in society, and so she decided to leave. With minimal practical skills and an eagerness for adventure, she made the questionable plan of hitting the road and traveling until she found somewhere suitable to settle. Requirements would include an open-minded populace and someone willing to hire her. Available magic teachers or tutors of any kind would be a plus because her primary motivations are the accumulation of wealth and knowledge. The curse of short lifespans placed on the human race is a consistent concern to her. While she wishes to see as much of the world as possible before her passing, she can’t help but wonder if, should she learn enough about the secrets of sorcery, death isn’t something she could conquer.
