Mustafa Al-Ibn Rashid is a human, though more specifically is a Qalasheen.
Mustafa had lived the majority of his life within the walls of Sutica. That said, the land beyond the city walls are not entirely foreign. He would often accompany his father, Ahmed, on hunting and trading trips to nearby lands. While hunting, he honed his skills in archery while disregarding the use of close-combat tools. On one of those occasions, a group of bandits composed of Ururks and Ologs attacked Mustafa and his father. During the attack, Mustafa’s father died protecting him.
Mustafa grew up in a household that supported cactus green, and as such has grown somewhat dependant on the substance, more so after his father's death, and though he is urged to try alcohol by some of this companions, he has a reluctance to do so due to his faith forbidding it.
