Xanius was born in the city of Lindale to his father, a disciple in the Faith of the Seven, and his mother, a basket maker, who died in childbirth. He was abused physically and mentally by his father, who never forgave his son for his wifes death. At age 60, Xanius’s father died of extensive alcohol abuse, leaving the young elf to fend for himself. Xanius lived out his adolescence in poverty resulting to petty thievery to make ends meet, usually targeting the businesses and residences of upper class individuals, but never using violence in his robberies (targeting said businesses during times when shop workers or residents were not present). He lived life as a petty thief for several years, until one day a robbery he’d done countless times went awry, resulting his arrest and long term imprisonment. After being released from prison, Xanius abandoned his old life and ways and set off for the city Talar’ikur. Xanius now hopes to find a new purpose and to make up for of the darkness and pain of his past. Or perhaps just try to forget it.
