Gidmoth Bloodforge is a 119-year-old cave dwarf. He weighs 208 pounds and is 4’1. His last name, “Bloodforge” comes from the fact that whenever he makes weapons he will cut himself on purpose and pour some of his blood onto the weapon, this causes the items he forges to have a slight red tint to them. This is a very old tradition for his close-knit family and they believe that it makes the bond between the item being forged and the forger stronger. Similar to the runecrafting ability, but more of a mental bond between tool and forger. He lives down in the city of Agnarum where he mines and forges making and selling weapons, pickaxes, axes, etc to the kingdom and people for money. Gidmoth is a very proud dwarf and takes pride in the work he does. He likes it when people compliment his work. He will re-do an entire blade, pickaxe, ax, etc if he does not find it to his liking or thinks that it is simply not good enough, missing due dates at times to reforge an item. He will often go out for a few drinks after a night of hard work or a good payday. He has a personal vendetta against a few of the snow elf smiths in Fenn because a few of them mocked his work saying that pouring his own blood onto his forges is absurd, silly, and does nothing for the work. He’ll typically avoid them if possible. Gidmoth grew up in Az’adar but his parents died in a mining accident when he was 98, but this wasn't before he could learn the craft and ways of the forge. Since then he has learned more and more from practicing and reading from the library and the books his parents had left him. He is an only child with no close relatives besides an aunt that went crazy after his parents died, she was last seen going deep into the mines babbling gibberish, she is presumed dead by now. He just resides in Agnarum now selling and forging his weapons, but still sometimes adventuring out to sell them when business is slow, keeping his families unique and beautiful way of forging alive.
