Blaezar is a young human in search of greatness. He left his father, Jayron, to find his own path. He is not the first-born, or the second-born for that matter, so he has no dreams of ever inheriting his father’s belongings. He grew up with two other brothers in Presa de Madera, the capital of the Kingdom of Santegia. He’s religious, as he strongly believes in the existence of the Creator and is a Canonist, as he was raised in the Church of Canon.
He left his family after having a row with his drunken Father, one that turned nasty. Growing up, his Father would give gifts to his brothers, but a fist to him. He hates having his Father’s surname. His mother was never there to protect him, as she died in childbirth. As a result, he feels estranged from his family and desperate to find a new life somewhere far far away.
On the outside, he’s quite emotionless and almost barbarian-like, but beneath this hard external layer is a man wanting the love his father never gave him.
Will he find the rewarding new life he’s searching for? Or will he perish away from his family surrounded by strangers?
