We are pleased to announce that Lord Percival de Lyons ‘al Lionhearted’ will serve as Balian’s sixth Amiratus. The Princess Royal, Elena Casimira served the Crown since her birth with an unwavering determination to see Balian left better than she found it. We can say with the utmost surety that she accomplished her goal, and will observe a period of mourning over the next Saint’s days. We likewise believe Percival de Lyons shall follow diligently in his Mother’s footsteps, showing already promise in his assistance during the War for the Midlands. We believe he is the best candidate to succeed her and hope that he shares the same determination and knack for governance that she did. May the Princess Royal rest peacefully with her ancestors in the Seven Skies. The Kingdom of Balian shall march ever on, looking to the past fondly on the work that the Princess did- and the feats that she achieved. May we continue to prosper.
