Siegemeyer ------------------------------------------------------------- Character profile: Name: Siegemeyer Myaskovski (Ruthern) Nicknames: Sieg, Siege, Myas, Myaskov. Age: 56 Born: 1462, 4th of the Sun's Smile. Race: Human Culture: Raev Personality: Stubborn and straightforward, Sieg makes for a very blunt man, he will not bother to ask the things that makes a chat go awkward. He always strikes first, attempting to catch most off-guard in speech, and combat alike. Things like courtship and dawdling about irritates him, thinking to himself if they could be doing things more beneficial, he has a strong distaste about people who prove to be useless, he is mostly apathetic to the things around him. He does prove to be cheerful at times when around people he is comfortable with. Inventory: Siegemeyer has a specific kit on his person at all times; -A common sword, Sieg does not tie himself down to things such as heirlooms. He uses whatever available. -A pouch of minae, at his belt at all times. -A small bag of provisions, usually ranging from non-perishable crackers to cured meat. -For clothing Siegemeyer wears whatever suits him, he currently wears the cloaked garments of the militant order he is in currently. ------------------------------------------ Lifestyle: Alignment: Neutral. Siegemeyer is not attempting to be a chaotic villain, or a good hero. He sees the world apathetically, only amused by things that catch his eye. Profession: Soldier Strengths: Siegemeyer has an immensely extensive knowledge and experience over most of the common people, he has experienced martial combat from dozens of different perspectives. He has the ability to be quiet when the situation requires for it and is perfectly capable to follow through with an order when it is given. Flaws: Siegemeyer has hard times adapting to new environments, he is a very closeted man, trusting people does is a difficult thing. His personality leaves a bad impression, which tends to have Siegmeyer misjudged. ------------------------------------------ Appearance: Height: 6'3 Weight: 193 lbs Hair: Brown, tinged all around with blonde, mixing the two colors. Eyes: Dark blue. Physical: Siegmeyer has the body shape of mesomorph, although his body is weathered and beaten from misuse, his muscles still show prominently. With broad shoulders, a wide chest and a healthy heart to go along with it, Sieg has the perfect body for a man following martial studies. These traits are common within the Ruthern blood lines, the traits being honed by the previous generations. Health: Siegmeyer has always prioritized things that helps maintain his body form, proper sleeping patterns and diet alike. ----------------------------------------- Weaponry: Fighting Style: Siegemeyer is very offensively based, he attempts to catch his opponents off-guard as soon as possible before they can recover. He aims for the weak areas while protecting his own. His old age however is slowly making Sieg tire faster and easier, therefore he preserves his stamina, attempting to finish a fight quickly before it drags on too long. And when the situation is dire, Sieg has no qualm in using tactics considered dishonorable, pocket sand included. ​Weapon of Choice: Siegmeyer would always choose for a longsword, or bastard sword. A heavy blade that can cause lethal damage if it were to be wielded correctly. ------------------------------------------ Biography: Parents: Siegemeyer has always been at odd with his father, Ivan, their way of thinking fundamentally different from each other, which caused a split between the two. Siegemeyer never cared about his mother. The Ruthern family generally do not marry for love, but for political means or other means, causing a lack of care towards the female members. Siblings: Siegemeyer has two siblings, Isidor, and Ruther, Ruther never being legitimized member of House Ruthern. Extended Family: Members of the Borislav Carrion blood line, Kovachev, Carrion. ----------------------------------------- History: Born in 1471 just outside of Vekaro, Kingdom of Oren, Siegemeyer is the child of Ivan Ruthern, and his mother, Rotislava Ruthern. He was brought up to be an identical version of his father, Ivan, imposing, cruel, and wroth, but instead Sieg had a different view on his life and became to independently think for himself at an early age, he became quite cynical, only bothering to help himself in life. With the added cynicism and pessimism, Siegmeyer had a horrible early childhood, beaten and scolded by his peers, Sieg had begone to form an emotional shell, he'd from then on become a very closeted. But he was free to roam around for he was of no importance, not being the eldest son. Even though he rejected the idea of being the ideal Ruthern male, he was still fascinated by martial arts like every other Ruthern member. He'd spend his adolescence, participating in drills, mock raids, and sparing matches, he'd even partake in tourneys at a young age. But soon after Siegmeyer's life would be turned around spontaneously. Nearing the end of the Zion war, Siegmeyer's father had his faction (the other being Ailred's faction) of the Ruthern renew their oaths of loyalty to their blood-kin, the members of House Carrion. At a diplomacy summit, where Ivan Ruthern's entourage was present, an assassination occured, Franz-Josef Carrion was killed by Ailred Ruthern, Ivan Ruthern. Ivan group were also killed during the assassination, alongside the Lord Chancellor at the time who also was killed. Hiding himself among the chaos that ensued after the assassination, Siegmeyer rode off, he cleared his name and chose an old acquaintance's name, Myaskovski for his new surname, he would from now on refuse to acknowledge himself as a Ruthern, the name now black marked by the majority. Siegemeyer now forced himself to wander the land as penitence, feeling ashamed about the Ruthern downfall. He'd do what he only knew what to do, he'd hone his martial experience, he'd further train himself in combat and when it was needed, he'd sell his sword to the highest bidder, making use of the teachings he received when he was young. He would occasionally feel drawn to aid his fellow Raevir-brothers although, once taking up the sword in Akovia's name during the Schismatic War in Athera. ​During the catastrophe that occurred in Athera, Siegmeyer has made his way into the emergency ships that evacuated the inhabitants of Athera to Vailor, during that time, Siegemeyer followed the retinues of House Sarkozic and later finally settled down, enlisted into the Adrian Army and is now aiding the Sarkozic cause during the ensuing civil war.
