Although having not been born during the glory days of the orcs Genza Sourdrum has stilled lived a life of hardship like any other of her Kin. Born a Sister to the Orcish clan Yar Genza was expected to be just as wise and spiritual such as any other orc of their clan. When Genza was birthed her hair was that of blood red, as if she was birthed in battle, her father Razeg saw this as a sign from the spirits that she was to be a powerful Shaman. So by night, under the cover stars and the company of fire, her Father, despite not being that skilled of a Shaman himself would tell her stories of their people, their ways of life and finally lul her to sleep with his stories of old. She became well-liked by the elder shamans and was allowed to watch as they performed their rituals even from a very young age but was kept at a distance as to not disturb the rituals nor the spirits. But as she grew into her late teens she started to hunger for more knowledge, her cravings for both bloodlust and spiritual powers got intertwined, her narcissistic behavior fueled by the compliments given to her by her father led her to believe that she would be worthy of owning and controlling the spirits, not serving them. Her ‘’salvation’’ came in the form of an old scroll telling tales of the practices of blood magic that she stole from a senile old Shaman. Not realizing the blood magic deflected from the ways of the clan she read it, not realizing that the scroll had prior been hexed by a witch doctor shaman, and as a result, she fell into a deep hallucinogenic trance. The elders found her in the trance and they became enraged. Seeing the scroll they immediately took it back and they were to make sure that such a horrendous act as this wasn't to go unnoticed. A trial was held, it was decided that she was to be executed, however, just as the trial was about to end, her objected, reasoning that the spirits had something in store for her, as otherwise she wouldn’t have been blessed with such red hair. The elders, after a long train of thought, agreed on two conditions; That one; she was to be exiled and never to return again and if she did, she was to be executed. Two; Her line of ancestors was to be forgotten and never to be spoken about again in the clan of Yar. Claiming that if she was meant for greatness, it surely wasn’t in the arts of Shamanism. Genza accepted her punishment and left the orcs behind, her only belongings being that of the blood magic scroll, the clothes on her back and some food. She became a wandering nomad, earning her the nickname ‘’The Wandering Witch’’ (Shortened Witch) by few travelers and traders. Her nomadic pursuit eventually came to a halt and she settled herself in a swamp, using a large hollowed out tree as a home while she quietly used the surrounding reptiles and amphibians as She invested in a form of herbal living, the same that her father used to live. With the surrounding wildlife, she created charms and ''potions'' selling them to traders and explorers that happened to come by her home. Due to this, she is well versed in the common language, but refrains from talking common when an orc is present as she is careful in order to not be labeled a ''white-washed’ ’ . However, she still hoped that one day she would meet someone willing enough to teach her in the arts of blood magic.
