Born of Burt and Gilly Bingu in Honey Hill. growing up, he liked to sit back and observe people. from a young age, he learned how people act and decided he doesnt like other people very much. being this way makes him unlike other friendly fun-loving halflings. as Gilbert grew older, his distain for others also grew. when he was about 20, him and his family journeyed to the nearest human settlement (idk where because apparently everything on the wiki is wrong.), where they were attacked by a group of large men. his parents were killed in the process, giving him a hatred of all people taller than him. he made his way back to honey hill, where he lived for a few years but grew tired of it. he made his way to Sedan, where he now lives, mostly in solitude. he occasionally talks to others but usually avoids people. his distain for most people caused him to not look for any romantic endeavors, as he likes to be alone most of the time. Now Gilbert is old and doesnt like to be bothered that much, although, he will still let them borrow what they need or help where he can, but he'll do so reluctantly.
