Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Taken back by the words of the woman, he was surprised that she knew him. "How.. How do you.. know me.." He raised his eyebrow and reached his hand out to shake. "My name is Kazuto... My mother a Highlander, my father an Easterner. I am tired, I have been through much hardship in the last few months, from the passing of traveling companions, to having my person plundered by thieves of what little wealth I had left. I have been moving from city to city with nothing but the clothing on my back, and I am looking for a place called Haense. I hope there I will be able to find work, and make a living that makes this life worth living. I’m a decent fighter, and know my way around a blade, but while I may not be the best fighter, I can definitely get you a good price for my blade.”
