_Adalwulf_

Adalwulf is the leader of the Wodaning tribe, one if the offshoot Norlandic tribes who fled Vjorhelm after its destruction. He was born to as the first son of militia guard Alberik and a weaver, Hildborg, in Vjorhelm in 1640. Alberik was not very rich, and the first five years of his life were made hard because of continuous fleeing, beginning with his city's destruction. After Alberik left the city in 1641 with his family, he gathered a small group of families loyal to the king Jevan I Ruric and set out to find him. The group grew into a "tribe" and the search for Jevan calmed. For two years, the tribe wandered the desolate, empty and burned lands which used to be Norland. Alberik soon allied himself with seven similar loyalist groups (there were 8 loyalist groups, which would lather become "The Tribes"). And when the undead came, the tribes, like everyone else, had to leave the realm of Axios. Adalwulf was only 3 when the ships left his old homeland. A cold breeze directed the ships to the southernmost shores of the continent of Atlas, what would become home for Adalwulf and his fellow northmen. It destroyed 2 of the 8 groups, leaving only six left. Alberik died in 1658, when the tribes had settled down in the southernmost icy deserts of Atlas.

Adalwulf, like his late father, has watched the politics of this new, southern continent with intrigue. Adalwulf's later life has been rather uneventful. Adalwulf does not have any military experience, but he has been trained and taught by his advisors, so he is ultimately weaker than most warriors. Adalwulf is naïve and somewhat dense, but very intrigued in learning about the mysteries of the universe and has a good memory. Adalwulf is swarthier than most of his Norlandic and Northman cousins, and oddly has green-bronw eyes. Adalwulf, like most northmen and Norlandic peoples, adheres to the Red Faith. Because of his lack of formal education, he knows little about elves and dwarves, only having heard them from stories. Overall Adalwulf is quite charismatic and productive, but has little to no experience in the world of "Real Men".
